Seaman Family Dentistry

My experience has been very disappointing. I had a filling fall out and visited this dental office to have it replaced. After several days of issues I went back in but the issues never subsided. Never did I think I’d experience two months of pain and discomfort. (I had next to no pain before my visit, but had noticed the missing piece and wanted to get it taken care of.) If I weren’t out of the country I would visit another dental practice in KC to have it replaced. Until then I’m left with biting into things with one side of my mouth and what’s likely to be an expensive visit in my future. I did have a dentist here in Mexico just look at the bite and he did some correcting which has been helpful but hasn’t solved the main issue, whatever that may be.I reached out to Seaman Family Dental via phone, the day before I left the country, in tears. The girl said she’d ask the dentist about my symptoms and call me back but no one called. I also emailed last week and didn’t receive any response. To credit those that were helpful- I’ve always thought the dental hygienists were terrific, the techs very kind, and I did appreciate Stacy who was very willing to help me when I called for what would have been my third visit to have this filling corrected, had it not been the night before my international trip. Simply put - I don’t think my filling was done with the care and attention it deserved, especially since no X-ray was even taken. Unfortunately, I’ll have to take my business elsewhere and hope that my tooth hasn’t endured too much trauma from the experience. I worked in healthcare for over 10 years. Simply not responding to a patient is unprofessional and shows a lack of concern.

This dental practice is pretty incredible. I've had a few bad experiences in the past, so 2 years ago when I started coming here I was a little skittish. Dr Seaman is expertly skilled and every hygienist/assistant who has worked on me has done a great job. Sidney did my cleaning today and had the best technique and personality I've experienced in the dental chair! Worth switching to this office just for her, in my opinion. The place is very clean and runs so efficiently. 5 stars all around.

We've been going to Dr. Robert Seaman for over 20 years and every experience has met our greatest expectations. Dr. Seaman is highly professional and works very quickly with quality results. He genuinely cares about each patient and always takes extra measures to be sure we are comfortable. I recommend him without reservation.

Highly recommend this dental office!!!!!! My awesome care started before I even stepped foot into the dental office. I went online to find a dental professional that could help me with my progressively very painful tooth ache. It would not stop throbbing (No sleep for 2 nights). I came across the Seaman Family Dental website and got access to Dr. Seaman's emergency text line. Dr. Seaman was able to recommend a instant temporary solution to my pain until I was able to get to the dental office.

The following day at my appointment the very professional staff took care of me so good. Nyle - at the front desk, Molly - my dental hygienist (OMG), Taylor - Awesome for handling my insurance stuff. Even the other nice young lady hygienist that recommended the Water Pick Flosser. You all took care of me so well. Finally Dr. Seaman, I am so blessed that I was able to get access to a professional like you on such short notice. I am a patient / customer for life. (10) Stars

My family has used Seaman dentistry for years and we have been very happy with our care. The staff is friendly, professional and provides excellent care. I highly recommend them and I am not an easy person to please!

Dr Seaman is amazing! He is the best dentist I have ever been to and I have been to dozens over the years. He is quick, attentive, painless (as possible), and most importantly, thorough. I had a crown done this week and it looks fantastic. Thanks Doctor!

Such an awesome experience! Had to get a root canal and the team was so great! I was so nervous and Dr. Seaman spent extra time with me explaining the process and ensuring I felt comfortable. They also got me in very quickly so I didn’t have to wait in pain. Wonderful experience all around!

I love Dr.Seaman and everyone in his office! Everyone is so very kind, friendly, professional yet casual and always have smiles on their faces. I have never felt so at home. A dentist that's a joy to visit...who would have ever thought!

As usual I had an outstanding experience this week I have been going to Seaman Family for several years. They have done the occasional fillings and routine cleaning over time and twice (do to me biting peanut brittle incorrectly) a beautiful porcelain cap on me upper front tooth. Great people, great service.

This was an appointment for my daughter who had lost a filling. I had a bad feeling walking in and should have listened to my gut. The waiting room was crowded and dirty. You could see months of dirt under the chairs and along the walls. But my daughter was in pain so we stayed. When Dr. Seeman came in, he was brusque and offered no explanation of what he was going to do...just said he’d put a new filling in. I went back to the waiting room. When my daughter, age 17, came out, she was so upset. She said he started drilling on her tooth, and was pushing so hard and pinching part of her lip and never once asked about her comfort level, just kept on drilling. The exam rooms needed a good cleaning, also. If you can, go elsewhere.

Oh, and then the new filling he put in fell out, and we went to another dentist that took time with his patients and cared about the quality of his work.
