Oak Tree Family Dentistry

I originally started going to this dentist in 2013/2014 when I got braces. At this time the location was in Algiers, a few years later I left a five star rating. Eventually they moved to the Gretna location. I also went to the location because my braces was paid in full. The reason I am changing my review is for the last 5 years I have been treated as if my business isn't wanted. Which is why I transferred my sons to a different dentist. Also, I started going to a different dentist only for cleaning. In 2016 Oak Tree Family Dentistry took my braces off. That wasn't the problem. The problem is once you go to a orthodontist for braces if you have a problem with your permanent retainer you have to go back to that orthodontist. When you pay for braces my plan came with permanent and temporary retainers and future orthodontist appointments concerning my retainers. However once my braces came off she barely checked my retainers and eventually stop checking on them all together. My dentist who clean my teeth noticed a wire on my permanent retainer wasn't connected to one of my teeth. I made a appointment and she was dismissive for the next 3 to 4 years I would consistently tell her about the glue that was connecting my permanent retainer was loose and wasn't connected to one of my teeth but was dismissed. Finally, at the beginning of 2022 she agreed it was loose and wasn't connected to one of my teeth. I was told to wear my temporary retainers with the permanent ones and come back to get it fixed when I thought I had worn the temporary retainers enough.(unprofessional) When the doctor asked me about my family I told her everybody was well. I overheard the doctor speaking about me negatively to one of her staff. (She wasn't whispering so I believe she wanted me to hear) I was so uncomfortable I didn't go back. I called a month or so ago to discuss the problem and never received a call back. Over the years I have seen several employees come and go. Some nice employees and some rude employees. Whenever I voiced my concern she never validated my concerns, everything was dismissive. One of her staff was rude and changed the story around, claiming I was rude to her and the doctor believed it. I called back again a few weeks ago and had her new employee argue with me over something she know nothing about. Despite the fact I nicely asked several times get the owner. I don't appreciate the neglectful treatment on behalf of the orthodontist, rude staff, unprofessionalism and disrespectful treatment. I went there for years! Everyone is respectable but once my braces was paid for which was $5,000 dollars everything changed. Just because your clientele went up that doesn't mean you treat old clients terrible. I have my original contracts and receipts of everything I paid for over the years. Now I have to find and pay a new orthodontist (which will be a hard task) to fix something that Oak Family Dentistry should be repairing.

Yesterday was my first experience at Oak Tree and it was amazing. The staff made sure I was comfortable during my procedure, and walked me through every step of the way. The list of awesomeness goes on and on. Oak Tree Family Dentistry is the place for our family.

When visiting Dr Nguyen’s Dental office, I always feel extremely welcomed by his Wonderful staff. In addition, his staff is very friendly along with being very attentive of their patients needs.

Well trained staff that are attentive, but also do what they say they will do. Different options were presented and they are very sensitive to cost. They accepted my insurance and have helped me on the road to a better smile.

I always have a wonderful experience at OakTree Dental. Dr. Tseng and Gabby made my appointment for braces fast and fun. They are so down to earth and professional. The front desk is always friendly. I honestly look forward to going to this dentist office. The vibes are just amazing. Come check OakTree Dental out for your oral needs. You won't be disappointed.

I really love this dental office! I've been coming since 2020 and I don't even dream of going anywhere else. They are so professional and do such an amazing job. I have gotten two crowns, fillings, a part of a tooth pulled and get my cleanings here. I love it and I recommend it to everyone! They make me feel comfortable and she even remembered things about me which we talked about over the years. It is great to be shown that they care about you even with the little things. P.S. get the neck pillow when they offer it.

My tech was very gentle with a light touch. She didn't pinch my lips during cleaning. She was very attentive to my tooth sensitivity and used warm water!! I can't thank her enough for that alone.

A colleague of mine told me about this office and I wanted to give a try since I had gone to a chain (Louisiana Dental Center) for so long and felt like "just a number" to them.

While the office was modern and receptionists were polite, the dental hygienist and her assistant went through me with a quick cleaning and a rude attitude. Worst part, the dentist barely acknowledged me as well. I'm used to feeling like "just a number", and this is no different.

Great dental office. All the staff are kind and helpful. Easy online pre-appointment paperwork as well. Highly recommend this team!
