I definitely have a favorite dentistry now. Everyone is so sweet and very helpful. Especially Justin. He knew answers to every question I asked. If you go here I would definitely ask for him! He makes the visit interesting and makes you wanna come back!

Had the pleasure of visiting Metairie modern dentistry today! The staff and Dr. Scipione saw me same day and made my visit so simple and easy! I’m very thankful for this office and would recommend them to all my family and friends.

My experience at Metairie Modern Dentistry was excellent!! Dr. Tingstrom is an awesome dentist, she explained my treatment plan, answered every question I had and most importantly was very gentle and caring when doing my treatment.
The dental assistants and office staff were super nice as well. Dr. Tingstrom uses the latest technology and she can do a one day crown!

I didn’t want to give any stars. But I had a bad experience here as well the lady I had was forcing a crown on me when all I needed was a simple filling. She told me there was a huge crack in my tooth and that she could only do a crown. Which was strange because she even said my gums were inflamed around the tooth that was ANOTHER LIE! If they did a cleaning before my appointment.. she would know this but her assistant was to busy talking about “how many fillings I had in my mouth” with another assistant. Very unprofessional! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They gave me the run around a few times about my insurance trying to make me pay out of pocket! Along with this I told her I could not afford a crown and it was one small filling that needed attention. She told me there was nothing she could do so I asked not even a temporary filling until I can afford it she told me no and that it needed to be done ASAP! So I kindly got my things and left while they were asking me if I wanted to be booked for that day. I politely said no and that I would return. They gave me tooth paste for “pain” and said that they would see me soon. That same day I went to another dentist and I got a different review ! And my tooth was saved he told me that there was mostly tooth and it would be ridiculous for him to damage a good tooth. I got a filling that same day from him along and now he is my new dentist! If you go here and they tell you that a crown is needed please get a second opinion. Save your teeth forget about the money. My WHOLE TOOTH WAS ABOUT TO GET SHAVED DOWN BECAUSE OF A GREEDY DENTIST! Never thought I would witness this NEVER!

Nothing but great things to say about the MMD family. They always greet you with a smile and have some really genuine employees who make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr. Tingstrom was super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. The administration and the other workers at this location are super nice and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. They made my day better by delivering exceptional customer service. Thank you all!

Dr. Scipione and his team were awesome. I went in for a routine check up and had to get a few fillings and everything was done the same day. What I love most about the staff is that they really care. I definitely recommend this office. I'm loving my new electric tooth brush. Thank you for making my visit a wonderful experience!

This is my first time here and i must say they made me feel so welcomed and treated me so well! Ms vanissa was WONDERFUL her personality is through the roof and made me feel comfortable.. Dr. T is even better!! She does her job so well and took the time out to actually explain and show demonstrations/models.. it feels like I’ve been knowing them forever!! Highly recommend.

If you could see my dental chart, you would know that I have seen my fare share of dentists. I have pushed the door of Metairie Modern Dentistry 2 years ago on an emergency. Dr. Scipione and his team from the front entrance, Hannah and Melissa, to the hygienists and assistants Vanessa and Maricella or the periodontist , dr. Ernst, are the best I have ever encountered so far. They are extremely competent and so gentle and nice at the same time. I recommend them to everyone.

I have never felt more comfortable at a dental office than I do here. Everyone’s so welcoming and kind! Justin and Dr. Tingstrum are the best!

A lot of my friends are afraid of dentists, but I told them to give Metairie Modern Dentistry/Dr Tingstrum a chance, they did, and because they liked it so much they’re a little less afraid. Lol!
I truly do recommend this place to everyone when I get the chance!

Just came for cleaning and check up with my 4 year old—everyone was fabulous! High tech and very clean office. Justin and Dr. Daigle made him feel right at home. Dr. Daigle was super thorough for my exam as well. She and Marcella were great and explained everything. Efficient cleaning with Javonda. Very impressed and will be returning!
