Just finished my first appointment at Metairie Modern Dentistry. I really enjoyed my visit!! Justin was a lot of help with Dr. Scipione, I’ll definitely be back!! Thank you all so much!

Metairie Modern Dentisry was really thorough with my cleaning. I was able to see my X-rays as they were doing it. The dentist spoke with me before my cleaning about any recommendations and how my teeth were. They also thoroughly explained the process. I would recommend this place.

Their staff viewed information from my medical file from another agency without my consent. I informed their staff that I did not want them to have access and have never signed a consent form from the other agency. Rather than taking accountability for their staff violating HIPPA and trying to take steps to make it right, they blamed their electronic record company and said their was nothing they could do. I will not be going back as they do not care about patient privacy.

I love this place ! This is the only place I go to and trust to get services done ! Vanessa was so awesome and very sweet ! She’s very good at what she does and is professional and take pride in her work ! Dr. Scipione rocks as always ! I highly recommend this place to others looking to get dental work done . This place was great! Staff was nice, and the dental hygienist went out of her way to calm down my usual dental anxiety. The office was nice and modern just like the name indicated. I will definitely be returning for my 6 month appointment.

I don’t frequently leave reviews, but I felt inclined to do so for this company. The moment I walked into the door, I was greeted. The check in process was quick, and everyone there was very friendly. I’m making them my new and permanent dental office after my experience with them.

The dentist who did this is no longer there. I assumed that a brand new high-tech state-of-the-art dental office would do good work. My bad. I should have realized when the dentist put the new permanent Crown in and it fell out the next day. There was a problem. The two temporary crowns on the other side. Also fell out a day later. Three days three crowns maxed out my insurance for the year. Which is another issue. I didn't ask the right question. My bad. I should have asked if they were "in network." They said they took insurance. They submitted it to my insurance company and when I received the check I had to endorse it and bring it to them. Which then cost me three times as much for my copay. Visited a dentist that is a professor at local dental University. He examined the now broken crown and noticed Decay underneath. He was astounded at the poor quality and workmanship. When I returned and asked if there was a warranty on a broken crown 2 months later they said ordinarily yes, however the dentist is no longer with them. So they would not honor the warranty. There goes another $1,000 dollars. Found a new dentist that is "in network" with both of my insurance companies. But now I have to wait until January to have any work done.

Went in, receptionists were nice, and so was the aid. The dentist wasn't gentle at all and ended up stabbing me super deep in my gums. Then was very condescending and judgemental about the whole ordeal. Which is why I avoid dentists in the first place. Thanks for reassuring my fears.

The worst dental experience ever!
I got my cavity tooth done here and now the filling fell off and experiencing severe toothache!
I went to other dental clinic and was told I need a root canal treatment and crown on the tooth.
I know they are responsible for this but not willing to take another risk. I'd give 0 star if possible.

I went to Dr. Daigle and she took the time to explain my options of care and was very understanding of my concerns around my teeth. I would highly recommend her to any new patients to Metairie Modern.
