Can’t even make an appointment for surgery, only in network surgeon in my area for my insurance... woman on the phone was so incredibly rude. Website says accepting new patients, my insurance checked moments before for me as well, however as of “yesterday” they are no longer accepting patients.
Would not recommend, plus the 25 minute wait to even speak to someone was ridiculous.

They just left a message to cancel an appointment I have scheduled for this morning. I think. I have another scheduled for this afternoon. If anyone would answer a phone I will know which one. The last appointment I went to I sat in the waiting room for over an hour and left. I think they are so overcrowded because they can't do anything without seeing you like twelve times. I am not sure how the care is because I still haven't gotten anything cleaned or filled. The x Ray people are nice and so is the receptionist.

Dr. Ford is great. Always makes sure I'm comfortable and accommodate.
Other staff isn't as nice but they aren't terrible. They book out sometimes 2 or 3 months unless it's an emergency/painful. You can walk in for emergency appointments.

They went out of network for a few months and when I came in my cleaning wasn't covered.. But if it was 5 days later, it would have been. Plus I have to have a crown and for the last 3 months, they can't tell me how much it will cost or when we can schedule.
It's the Walmart of dentistry.. I'll go back to my old dentist. I only went here because my old dentist was out of network.. And then had to drive to Bangor (an hour), only for them to be out of network..

Do not go to the PCHC in Bangor. The service very bad. When you go for an appointment they pretend to be nice and good with you but if you have any problem related to the billing or bad tooth filling which was made in that dental center, They will charge you again and you will see their real behavior with you. No body listen to you! I did two teeth filling the first one fell out less than a year, I went to complain about that (usually less than a year they should do free filling) They have never done that. They said I have to do crown and I have to pay for that without any discount. The second tooth filling I have had pain on it, I went again to tell them that, they charge me again to check the pain, and I have to pay again to fix it if I would that. Moreover, some dentists which I met them were not professional and sometimes when a dentist is working in my tooth, he went to ask another dentist about his opinion to put the filling or clean the tooth more!

I would never come back here again. Thank god for dr Erickson. They pulled the wrong tooth. Mind you I came in for 2 teeth to be pulled and it took her an hour to pull just one and I still had pieces of teeth lodged in my mouth. I’ve had plenty of teeth pulled and never ever have been as bad as the experience I had here. If your in need of teeth pulling dr Erickson is the place to go.

I went in because of severe pain, the dentist come in looked at my teeth stated I have an infection and the teeth needed to come out. Told me to go get set up for appointment, before leaving I stated to them, if I have an infection shouldn't I be put on antibiotics? The nurse comes back with a prescription in hand, and my appointment to go back is over a month away.... I just don't understand why I had to say to a professional that I should be on antibiotics to fight infection...not impressed with PCDC.

Horrible customer service. I been there to have like 4 times in the last year. I called today because i chipped a tooth and tried to make an appointment. I was told i not a customer and I said what you mean I not a customer she rudely said because I hadnt had them clean my teeth on regular basis, I not a customer. So I asked if I could come to walk in care ; her quote was "sir you could only come if bleeding or in severe pain. I have dental insurance, Im not asking for free care and you treat paying cuatomers that way. If i could i give zero starrs!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I went to this practice for a filling of a cavity where they didn’t properly give me the right care, and because of this I lost my filling which was metal underneath my tooth causing pain, and tenderness. I then came back complaining of tooth pain, sensitivity, pain, and migraines as for bleeding. The hygienist looks me in the face after taking an X ray she then proceeds to tell me there is nothing wrong with my tooth and she can’t see anything wrong with a healthy tooth so this is what she called it. I was then informed by her that it wasn’t a cavity, but a cracked tooth and I would need a root canal. She then proceeded to tell me that will be 900.00 and Mainecare would not cover this cost, nor will they help me with payment arrangements but to pay half of 900.00 up front then the rest. Something told me not to go back but to call Dr. Erickson on Stillwater because I was informed he was the best. So today I go the office, and find out in literally seconds from doing an X Ray that it’s not even a cracked tooth but due to my other back molar being removed from this practice led to gum disease around that site and underneath my last molar in the back. So all in toll I was told lies after lies, and then no results. Thank God I listened to a friend and went today, because I found out the cause of my tooth pain, and it was even done professionally and quick as well. I cannot even feel pain from a tooth extraction unlike PCHCD... I would definitely recommend him to other friends and family. No way am I going back to PCHCD!!!

I've just arrived back at my room after walking a couple of miles in 95 degree heat to get a filling. Unfortunately when I arrived there was only the one extremely rude receptionist I had the misfortune of dealing with 2x ago. Immediately she wants money. No light talk no anything just Co pay for today (an appointment I've waited along while for) and what am I going to do about the 70 dollars owed? I told her I'd make payments on it. again on the computer...yiu need to pay on it now what do you plan to do? I take my last 20 dollars and it is quite literally my last. There are people behind me mind you, She is typing etc. And says ' you need to take care of this balance. "" How do you plan to do that. " I told her I didn't have anything else to give her and I wasn't told I had to have a zero balance to be seen. I am extremely poor and desperately trying to save the rest of my teeth. It means everything to me and had I known it must be paid in full I'd have moved mountains to aquire each cent. I'm becoming very embarrassed, she doesn't lower her cold rude voice at all and tells me I'm not going to be seen today because I needed 105.00 cash and I didn't have it. Does this woman get commissions? What a zealous receptionist. I'm now in shock, I've given all I have today and I'm being turned away. I said well can I have my $55.00 dollars back then? As quick as you please she announces that has gone on my bill. I've waited years to have Mainecare and the discount plan and finally I can do something to prevent the loss of my teeth and I'm told to no forget it. If this is your practice it is a cold hard one. The least you can do is tell a person that no payment is exceptable, only the entire amount plus the new amount at time of service and don't take pleasure in someone else's misery. She could see how upset I was and I could hear people saying "she's not gonna be seen." I left red faced and walked all the way back devestated. What happened to a good faith payment? Then she wants to know "well, would you like to reschedule? I've crumpled in tears by now and flee from the office. This woman is atrocious. Not a kind sentiment in any way just PAY UP. I don't understand why someone as cold as she works with people in the health Field. Have a ❤️
