I went to the White Marsh Family Dentistry this morning on June 10,2021. I requested them cleaning my teeth only. They took total 18 X-ray pictures and said I have Gum must clean first before cleaning teeth. They showed me the total co-payment is around $264. I must sign first before they start. After I back home, I called my dental insurance company they told me they bite your money. My insurance company said mouth circle X-ray only one is covered, piece X-ray has two covered only. They lied to me and I must paid co-payment $90 for X-ray . It's not honest to treat patients. They used any excuses to find problems and finally Dr. came out to scare you about your problems. It's very terrible experience !
All of they explained their story is not what they told me in the processes. I want to recover the whole story to let people understand what happened . Without I agreed to pay $264, they didn't want to start. But I still need to pay Over $115 for X-rays fees only before I can leave. I told this Dr. that I am a senior without income. Is it possible to cut down a little bit ? This Dr.(the owner) is very cold heart and rejected my request. Finally I had not choice to Pay $264 and forced me to sign paper first before they started to clean what they said "Gum". It's not really "Gum" and is calcium stones. Like treat a prisoner! Before I asked the girl to stop taking X-ray after 6pcs X-ray, but she didn't want to stop. I cautioned my insurance can't cover, because I am a new member.. She kept taking up to total 18pcs.X-ray pictures. It's the first time to take 18pcs.X-ray in my life. I cautioned front desk about X-ray thing before they started and she told me she will check. My wife went to the other dentist this week and they can follow dental insurance company policy to take 2pcs.x-ray only for my wife and they told my wife had a little bit gum is possible because of Covid-19 period can't clean. They did for my wife without extra charge when they did teeth clean.
Why did White Marsh Family Dentistry never follow the dental insurance policy to take X-ray? Whose fault? You asked every customer gave you 5 stars is reasonable? All of what I said is true. Who promised you to take 18 pcs X-ray? Insurance company said two only. Please do honest way to treat your patients. Money everyone likes, but must use reasonable way. Without compassion always something will be happened. Hopefully you can accept my suggestions.

Had my first appointment here (consultation, xrays, etc.) and had a great experience. All of the staff is courteous and friendly. The waiting room and patient rooms are very clean and modern. The only downside is they are out of my network, but I will look into changing insurances next year so they can be in network - can't say that very often!

This is the best Dentist I have been to in Maryland!They educate you on your teeth,the entire staff down to the receptionist were very informative. The staff is very professional and friendly. Dr.Litwin is awesome very funny I love how he explained to me what was happening with my teeth and how we came up with the goal and plan to get it straightened. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have only seen Farrugia and he is great. Laid back but clearly very competent. Has always taken my questions and concerns seriously, which I appreciate. Being talked down to be a provider is unacceptable these days and you won't find any of that here. Professional staff and nice clean facility. Five stars all the way! I actually refer coworkers all the time.
