I've been to two other providers for quotes for braces. They are both very different approaches, timelines, and prices so I wanted a third quote.
Both places I've been to had free consultations. They didn't bill insurance, me, or anyone else. Its a free consultation, with the possibility that they're going to make thousands if I chose their practice. I took it for granted that consultations were free.
When I got to this place they wanted to charge me $69 and then have me try to get it refunded from my insurance. They said that was their contract with my insurance (A BCBS provider so its not a no name insurance).
I'm not going to pay them and have to hound my insurance company for a refund, or even if they gladly do it, I have to wait for it. 2 out of 3 providers have done the consult for free so far, and I already have an appointment for a free consult elsewhere.
Its the principle of the thing. If that service is typically free, then I don't want a company charging my insurance in a round about way, and running up my insurance costs over time.
They may be a great practice, but if they're charging a not insignificant fee for a service that is typically free elsewhere, what other hidden costs will they have that other practices don't charge for?

They are very friendly from the time you walk in there. The Dentist is outstanding explains everything he is doing. If you need a new dentist this is the place to go.

I have been coming to this dentistry for over 15 years now. I see Dr. Litwin and Angie regularly who are amazing! The office is so welcoming and make every visit so comfortable. I recommend this dentistry to whoever I can!

Dr. Farrugia was our family dentist for many years; however, recently I was experiencing unexplained pain in my mouth and Dr. Farrugia initiated a procedure and gave me temporary cap until the remaining work could be completed. While at home, the cap fell off my back tooth leaving me in extreme pain due to exposed nerves. I immediately called Dr. Farrugia who forgot his compassion and and treated me with a total lack of respect. In addition, I was charged at the first visit for work he had not even yet performed. After a letter to him, I received a partial refund. In the end, the work he performed was not necessary to correct the problem I was experiencing and and as a result, I ended up having to have the tooth removed. I will never use or refer anyone to this dentistry.

Worst dentistry ever! My son went to get his cap on one of his tooth and it came out twice within three months!! Never happened with any of our dentist before. Moved to this area recently and was expecting great things seeing the ratings , but we highly disappointed with this place!!
