Dr. Shakoori took plenty of time to explain everything and why it needed to be scheduled as it was. And the technicians there never felt rushed and were pretty much the first place that has gotten decent bitewing x-rays for me.
It was my first visit, and the bulk of the work remains to be done, but so far so good!

Dr. Shakoori and her staff are amazing! I came in for a full evaluation because I'm getting braces soon. Dr. Shakoori explained with details the steps that I need to take in order to start treatment for my braces. They offer different financial options which is awesome! I thank Dr. Shakoori and her staff for helping me and I'm looking forward to get my deep cleaning so I can start treatment as soon as possible!

I was treated by a new hygienist, Hasim (sp?). He did a very thorough, yet gentle cleaning as I am currently having an issue with the trigeminal nerve on the lower right side of my mouth following removal of my wisdom teeth. I will definitely request him for my next cleaning. Dr. Shakoori was great as always. She is always very attentive, thorough and caring.

Smile Arts Dentistry is a great practice, I've only just started going there starting around September 2016, but have been back probably a total of about 6 times. I went in for a cleaning and also wanted a consultation for crowns, went back a couple times since then for cavity treatment, and ended up getting the crowns put in.
The office staff is very friendly and professional. When I wasn't sure if I was going to do the crowns or not, Julie at the front desk called me on more than one occasion to let me know there were openings in case I wanted to do it. While most of my treatments were covered by insurance, I did so much in so little of a time that I maxed out. The office still worked with me on pricing when they didn't have to, to deliver a beautiful set of crowns and treatment of cavities.
After only a few visits the staff already recognized me and were very friendly and personable to me. Dr. Shakoori is a consummate professional who is patient and gentle, and I appreciate the work she has done for me.
No complaints whatsoever with this dental practice!

This is definitely my favorite practice in the Greenbelt area. I have had a lot of work and multiple appointments recently. Let's be honest, most of us don't look forward to that. My dentist was Dr. Shamsazar who is very patient, explains everything well, and is thankfully very gentle with the needle. I am really happy with the result.
I also had a lot of work done with La Toya the dental hygienist. Her work was excellent and also very professional and kind. The two dental assistants Andrea and Anna were also excellent.
This practice also takes federal Humana PPO and the front office has been extremely effecient and great customer service, helping out with the right paperwork to submit for FSA.
Keep up the great work. Well deserved 5 stars!

My sons experience with Dr.Shakoori was beyond amazing. From someone who has been in the dental field many years ,finding a Doctor My kids love and I trust can be hard . However we hit the gold pot with Smile Arts Dentistry .My son LOVED Dr.Shakoori and her magic wand . Truly so thankful to have found such an amazing dentist for my family .

I am new to Dr. Shakoori and so far, it is a great place for dental work. I don't remember the names of every staff, but everyone was very nice! From the workers at the front desk, to the office manager, to the assistants, and to Dr. Shakoori! I had many questions and Dr. Shakoori answered and explained her treatment plan to me patiently and honestly. Didn't feel any pain when Dr. Shakoori worked on me. I will keep coming here! :D

All of the staff were prompt and polite upon entering the facility. Everyone was wearing a mask but you could tell they still had smiles on their faces, great energy. Dr. Shakoori is awesome as ever! I also had a new hygienist, Hussan (sp?, sorry), who was very friendly and outgoing.
