It got to a point in my life where I simply didn’t know what to do as far as my dental situation was concerned. Previous experiences with other dentists had left me almost despondent, even fearful of any procedure. In the meantime I continued to suffer from missing, failing, and badly aligned teeth that were beginning to disfigure my face. Cavities between and atop my teeth also made it very uncomfortable for me to drink cold fluids or breathe in cold air.
As the situation became almost unbearable, I decided to research local dentists. That is when I stumbled on Smile Arts Dentistry and Dr. Shakoori. But, although all the reviews I read about them were very favorable, I still was not persuaded. Anyhow, I decided to give them a try. So I called and scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Shakoori sometime in 2016. And that was the beginning of a really pleasant, rewarding, and worthwhile e experience.
During my first and subsequent visits the ladies at the front desk were always very welcoming, pleasant, and friendly. At my first meeting with Dr. Shakoori, I was stunned by how genuinely caring and nice she and all her staff are. From the get go, they make you feel so relaxed, reassured, and special. Dr. Shakoori’s attention to detail is remarkable. She is a perfectionist and a true dental artist. She and her staff really make you feel that you are in the best hands and that they really care.
After a thorough examination, she explained that my best option (in terms of cost and outcome) was complete (all-on- 4 implants). It was quite obvious to me that she was genuinely concerned and wanted the best outcome for me. I did not feel rushed to make a decision. I accepted her recommendation and we scheduled my first surgery in October 2016 for the lower teeth. Everything went very well. Subsequently, we scheduled the second surgery in June 2017. That too went extremely well. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful set of “teeth” and absolutely charming smile. Once more, I can laugh and smile confidently. Best of all, I can eat and drink just like I used to do with my natural teeth. I sincerely thank Dr. Shakoori and her team for an excellent job and I strongly recommend them to anyone considering a dental procedure.

I sent out a request to my friends and family on Facebook asking for recommendations for a dentist. I was having some major and minor dental concerns, and I needed to figure out what was going on fast so that things would improve rather than worsen. After getting a couple of positive choices, I searched for locations online because I do not drive and needed to figure out if either location was bus accessible. Admittedly, I chose Smiles Arts the first time around because it is very easy to travel to on the bus.

I keep going back because the service is the greatest I have ever had.

My former dentist was more of a cosmetic dentist, and he kept pushing me to get implants and spend more money than I could afford to do so, pushing me to use the Care Credit card I already have. While I understand dental work is necessary, racking up debt is not. And that is what I like most about coming to Smile Arts: they do not push anything on you. Dr. Shakoori and her team present you with options and you get to choose the one that is best for you after discussing those choices as thoroughly as needed.

My first dental cleaning, was the greatest cleaning I have ever had. And when I talk with the dental hygienist, she had an opinion about the tooth paste and mouth rinse I use, and gave me alternatives that she thinks is better based on what I was really looking for in the products I want to use. She also went as far as to not give me the one toothpaste I super hate, and searching for the one I love to place in my party favor bag. I love that dentists still give the toothbrush every time you get a cleaning.

Dr. Shakoori created a dental plan to get my mouth back into proper condition. And we are about half way done, and I am almost sad because I enjoying coming to Smile Arts. The staff is friendly and polite, everyone is always laughing and smiling. They really make you feel welcome to be in their office. The staff is large and there are many rooms in the suite, and there is no clinical feel to place. Very warm and inviting.

I recently just had a crown put on a broken molar. The temporary crown popped off twice and each time after I called, they found me an appointment as soon as I could get in. The second time, they surprised me with my permanent crown that I was not supposed to get for another couple of weeks. I was super happy about that.

TL;DR: Best dentist I have ever been to. Super happy with every appointment I have had. Great service, awesome people, bus accessible. Totally recommend.

They're amazing.
After a long time of avoiding the dentist I have a lot of dental work to do. Like most people I associate dentists with intrusive pain, and I also had a bad experience with dental surgery when I was younger, so I really have it embedded in me. After only a few visits to smile arts, I feel confident that I can trust them to always make sure I'm comfortable, and I'm actually looking forward to getting more work done, rather than dreading it.

I’ve recently moved practices and I’m glad I did! The check in was smooth fast and painless. While I didn’t receive amazing news, I’ve also never felt so comfortable afterwards everyone was so informative and professional that I can’t wait for my journey for healthier teeth.

Although this was my first visit, it didn't feel like it. The staff made me feel relax (that's not an easy task for me at the dentist..) and like they knew me. I give they a High Five....

Dr. Shakoori and her staff always provide the best experience every time I visit the office. The hygienist Julia and Holly I believe is her name are awesome. They dont treat you as if you a just a customer, they always ask hpw you're doing and inform you of everything they are doing step by step so you're more than comfortable. It goes such a long way and I'd refer them to anyone I know looking to find a dentist office.

Great people as always when I visit. Nice and friendly environment. All the employees there do their utmost to make the patients feel comfortable.
