Loved my dental cleaning experience with the hygienist!

Wonderful experience! The reception staff is excellent - organized and friendly. Nia was great: personable, professional, and caring. Dr. Tijar was welcoming and efficient, he runs a great practice. I recommend this practice to anyone who has had a bad experience with dentists. This office will change your experience for the better! Thank you, Dr. Tijar and all Chesapeake Smiles' staff!

The staff at Chesapeake Smiles are amazing! I needed an emergency appointment a few days ago and they fit me in right away. The office was clean and very organized. I was greeted right away and was in an exam chair within minutes. Dr. Tujjar is the best! He explained everything he was doing and kept checking to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend Chesapeake Smiles!

It was quick, more painless than it ever was before to go to the dentist, and I greatly appreciate the discount code to get a better electric toothbrush and water flosser. Their covid protocols are very convenient and clever. And the tech I was with was extremely kind. I was made to feel comfortable from the getgo and almost had fun while there

New patient to this practice. My dentist of twenty years retired right before COVID hit and I had not been to a dentist since late 2019 because of COVID. Now that I am vaccinated, I decided on this dental practice after a long search. They are close to home so that is a plus. I arrived a bit early before they opened at 9am. Office was clean. Staff wear masks and require patients to wear them too. I saw employees taking their temperatures and logging them in. While seeing patients, they wear appropriate and protective PPE to minimize spread of COVID and anything else. I felt comfortable despite COVID and the various strains still looming. The hygienist was thorough but did not torture me😁. She took the time to explain and educate which is a plus. The dentist was kind and answered all questions. She found early signs of a developing cavity. A real plus. I would suggest the dentist not be afraid to use real terms for things such as a Periodontist vs “the gum doctor”. She was surprised I knew the correct term. Some patients appreciate knowing the real terms as long as you explain what it is. It is the difference between telling a patient they have “sugar in their blood” vs diabetes, Overall, this is a great practice and I already recommended them to my husband since he and I had the same dentist that retired.

As embarrassing as it is to admit, I haven’t had my teeth professionally cleaned in quite some time. I developed some tartar on my bottom teeth from inconsistent brushing and flossing which caused some gum discoloration. I knew that I needed to get this taken care of right away. After seeing fantastic reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. I was able to make an appointment the very next day. The staff was very friendly and everyone followed Covid-19 protocols which made me feel safe since I have older parents. The cleaning process was easy and painless and they were able to blast away all the tartar that was causing my gums discoloration. What I loved and value most is that they walk you through everything that’s going on in your mouth. They talked to me about how tartar builds around your teeth, they noticed some abrasions on my teeth and gums from brushing too hard, and went over preventative care that can be done.

I was immediately blown away of the incredible work that they’ve done that I’ve been starring at my teeth in the mirror all day. There’s zero discoloration on my gums and my teeth look so shiny and bright. If you’re looking for a Dentist in the area, please consider Chesapeake Smile. I highly recommend

I went to Chesapeake Smiles after my primary dentist said they could not complete crown work within a 3 week time frame (they said it would take 4-5 weeks). Chesapeake Smiles was very understanding of my situation and worked with me to get the work done in time. They were not only very kind, but also very professional; returning my phone calls promptly when I needed to inquire more about a specific concern. I am very satisfied with the crown work they did for me, as well as the personable experience they provided! I'd highly recommend this office to others.

I would go back here again. I already went back a couple times. They did a good job in my mouth each time. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgable. I drive past a few other spots where I could go just to come here instead. Simple and easy checking in as well as after the visit checking out. Best dental office I have been to.
