January 2023, I visited the Odenton office for cleaning. M's Serafina checked my teeth stating I have a problem with one tooth. She x-rayed, cleaned and polished my teeth. She did an excellent job. Dr. Kim checked my teeth stating there is a problem with my one tooth that has an old crown on it. He explained everything to me. M's Serafina, Dr. Kim and the two ladies, M's Ashley and M's Renee of the front office were very friendly, polite, helpful and informative. I could not have asked for better service

I normally don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to write one now. I have been wanting to switch dentists for a while now and finally had it with my last one. I found Chesapeake Smiles on Yelp and was impressed by the great reviews and the proximity to my house didn’t hurt so I decided to make the leap and I’m so happy I did! I went for my first appointment today and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and sparkly clean office. They took every precaution to maintain the safety of the patients and staff and I really appreciated that. The hygienist was really nice and did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth!! I met my dentist, Dr. Kim briefly. She was friendly and efficient in assessing what needed to be done. I was able to book an appointment really easily and they had plenty of openings that fit my crazy work schedule. So happy to have finally found my dentist!

After looking around, I've finally found a dental office with a professional staff that listens to all of your concerns and knows how to comunicate effectively with their clients on dental treatments, procedures and cost. Also, the atmosphere here makes you feel very at ease.

Absolutely love this dental office. Not only is it clean, but the whole staff is amazing. I have visited the office frequently enough to meet almost everyone there and have not had one bad experience. My normal dentist is Dr. Kim, she is honestly the best dentist that I have ever had. She is thorough but quick and very sweet. Highly recommend this office to anyone in need of a great dentist.

We initially searched the internet for the highest ratings. BIG mistake, as we soon experienced the worst initial dental appointment ever. It was so bad that I got up and left with my mouth bleeding following what should have been simple initial X-ray. We decided not to have a dentist until after retirement and leaving the state of MD.
Fortunately my colleague recommended Chessapeake Smiles Dental. Word of mouth recommendation is best in my experience.
We are now looking forward to having additional work done prior to retirement.

I always have a pleasant experience here. I hadn't been to Chesapeake Smiles in a little over a year due to an insurance change, but on my return my favorite dental hygienist there, Sarafina, remembered me! She is still the warm, genuine, and professional person that I remember from past visits. It's always nice to share a laugh (or three) during my visits with her :). Everyone from the front desk staff to the dental hygienists and dentists are extremely friendly. All procedures and recommendations are clearly explained and they never pressure you to have something done that is not urgent. I highly recommend this dental office if you live in the area.

8/27/2020. Another outstanding visit at Chesapeake Dental. I really appreciate the COVID-19 precautions taken. Front desk was friendly and efficient (as usual). The entire office is always clean. The treatment by the dentists has never let me down. Coming to this practice is always a pleasure!
