There is a sign in the waiting room that night guards and sports mouth guards are on special this month so they cost $450, saving $300. The Dentist said “they are half price this month”. ( 300 off of 750 is not half, doctor.
However the treatment plan said the cost would be $494 and the receptionist confirmed it was correct, when I asked about the sign on the counter across the waiting room from his desk.
“Bait and switch” is illegal and shady.
Why go there? The hygienist has been my hygienist for a long time from another practice and I like her. Different dentists over the years.
Update: they called me. Will they refund all of the people they overcharged and stop the illegal and immoral practice of fraud? Bait and switch is fraud.

I had an appointment today; they were very careful about safety for patients and staff. Jill has been our hygienist for years, and she was cheerful, thorough, and meticulous, as always. Dr. Shutts was knowledgable, thorough, and professional, and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend them.
