Advanced Family Dental

I always have a postive experience when I need to go to Advance Family Dental.
They handle difficult situations with utmost care. That is why I wouldsay it is still a postive experience. They truly care about thier patients.
Dr Rachel has took her own time to explain a dental situation to me when I needed some oral surgery. I was upset in the beginning, but her calmness and expertise put me at ease for the upcoming surgery.
I cannot thank each and every one of them enough for their caring during that time and in all the other times I have had work done.
I highly reccommed them .

Can't say enough good about this place! They are very informative about what they are doing and what they see during exams/cleanings. They know their stuff and will do their best to inform patients of options and recommendations. They are thorough, kind, and efficient. Caitlin was awesome and remembered and asked about details in my life 6 months later! Obviously this isn't a requirement, but as a patient, it makes me feel cared for. Highly recommend.

While RV traveling thru Minnesota, at lunch a crown came off! I did a Google search for the next town, Albert Lea, MN and found Advanced Family Dental that had great reviews. Therefore, called at 7:30 am and they worked me in that morning... thankfully, they were able to re-cement the crown til I get home to my dentist in NC. The dentist, staff and facility were all EXCELLENT!! Highly recommend!

The staff is warm and welcoming. On time with my appointment and the treatment I received was explained in layman terms. Dr Tricia & Caitlyn took very good care of my teeth after an extended time away from the dentist.

I haven’t seen a dentist in 5 years or more and when I recently moved to America I decided I should try and see one. I was definitely hesitant as I have jaw issues, and the dentists back in Canada gave me a very difficult time about it and kind of traumatized me from seeing a dentist again. I found this dental office online and decided to book an appointment with them and I am so happy I did! First the building is beautiful, the waiting room is spacious and the front staff was so welcoming to me even though I was very scared. I saw Lindsey and she was so welcoming and walked me through everything and was constantly checking to make sure my jaw was okay. She was kind and gentle so nothing really bothered me. I also saw Dr Nelson and she was also so kind and gentle. I have never had such an amazing experience at a dentist office before.
I can’t thank them enough for their amazing service. Even the front staff was so incredibly nice , it makes you feel more calm and comfortable.
I would recommend this place to everyone, especially if you have a fear of dentists like I did.

Had an issue/emergency and they were the only dentist in town to bring me in right away. Staff was more than friendly, sat by my side and distracted me with conversation the whole time, and seemed genuinely interested haha. Definitely one of my better experiences of going to a dentist. Will absolutely be coming back.

I really liked getting my teeth cleaned here. They did a good job. Unfortunately, they stopped accepting my insurance and didn't tell me until after the appointment was already over. Tricia said there would not be a change in terms of charge, just that I could either pay with a card or I could bring the check in from Insurance once I received it. I thought everything was fine. I opted to pay with a card, since I was going to get reimbursed. Once I received the explanation of benefits from my insurance, however, I found out that I didn't receive the full amount back. It just didn't sit right with me that they couldn't tell me before the appointment that they were out of network for me now. I realize that as a patient it's my responsibility, but they have such good customer service that it was just shocking. On top of that, I had my wisdom teeth taken out last year per their recommendation and they did x-rays again at my cleaning, because it was time. I didn't get reimbursed for that either. It makes it hard for me to recommend them to anyone going forward.

Dr. Rachel Poppell and her team were amazing. I have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, probably just like everyone else. They made me feel right at home and took the time to listen to all my concerns. I'm really grateful to have them in town!

I highly recommend Advanced Family Dental! I just had a crown prep appointment & the staff are so friendly. They explained everything and took the time doing an excellent job. I’m thankful for how comfortable they made me feel in their office!

Advanced Family Dental is fantastic, from Dr. Rachel and Dr. Tricia, to their entire staff. State of the art technology and always staying on top of the latest techniques and education in the dental field. They take away all the dread of going to the dentist with their kindness and high quality of care. They always make sure that I am comfortable and that my appointment is suited to my specific needs.
