If you’re considering going to this dentist think twice the last time I was in was in 2019 for tooth pain when I seen the dentist his first thing to diagnose tooth was to hit it very hard with a metal instrument until I was in severe pain he said this was part of the diagnosis and that I was OK ! I was in again today in 2022 same issue I mentioned in the notes that I did not want my tooth hit on with a metal instrument again because it caused severe pain he insisted that he do it again as soon as he walked in to meet with me or he could not diagnose the problem that he already did in 2019 ? The Practices this place is using Is very questionable and concerning as you would think that the dentist would not want to cause pain for the patient . He then sent me a letter saying that he could do the procedure by calling him personally ? Use this dentist at your own risk!!

Had teeth pulled and was very uncomfortable, was in pain and the doctor asked if I was in pain I said yes and he Continued to pull my teeth , wouldn’t recommend getting teeth pulled here

I love all the people that work at this office - always very kind and professional. I do feel like their prices are way cheaper than a lot of dentists in the area. Recently, I went to another dentist for a cleaning because they were booked out until February and was told I had to get some work done on my teeth and the costs were huge. After going back to Uptown for a second opinion, I found out that the work I needed was very minimal and would be half of the other place's cost. Will definitely be going to this clinic from now on! Very pleased with the costs & services from Uptown Dental!

I love all the folks at Uptown Dental! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and Dr. Vu is a terrific dentist!! I used to have a fear of going to the dentist due to others from the past but I trust Dr. Vu. He is patient, reassuring and does a great job every visit! I live in Minneapolis now and still drive down for my dental work. This place is a gem!!

The work I have had done there in the past is good; I have no complaints there. The dentist is overworked and hardly talks to the patient for more than a second, but that is not a major negative. But their hardline policy toward dropping patients who cancel appointments late is too much. There was snow on the road this morning, not a huge amount but enough for the road conditions website to take notice, and enough for me to feel unsafe driving. I called late but I did call to cancel, and with no room for discussion they refused to let me make another appointment, and although they did put me on their waiting list they said they may never accept me again. Due to the medicaid insurance I have, that probably means I have no possible way to get dental care, unless I could succeed at getting in with Open Doors in Mankato.

Uptown’s dental work is good to my knowledge, but their heartless policy for no-shows is simply unacceptable.

I am absolutely so greatful for DR VU, he is the best dentist i have ever had the experience of meeting, me and my family have been going there for 7 plus years now, i feel like he is so compassionate about his work and the ppl he works on. My most recent experience here was having an appointment to have a tooth pulled but was in so much pain from an infection in another tooth and in so much pain with another tooth he was quick to help me, numbed the pain until he cld get to me and then when he came in to treat me he made sure i was comfortable and not in pain, because the tooth was so infected the sensitivity and pain was so bad, i felt like he was worried about me and making sure i was ok. Going to the dentist has always been one of my biggest fears especially when having to have major work done but i feel like he makes it less stressful and less anxiety because hes so kind, courteous and caring💞. The assistants and secretaries that work here are always so friendly and caring also. Always smiling and happy, very family oriented business, accommodating, fast and clean. This is seriously i think? the best dental business i cld ask for. Ty guys for ALWAYS caring n doing great work.

Racist organization. I saw 3 roaches run across the wall into a small hole behind the chairs in the waiting room. The heauxs behind the desk with the stringy blonde hair extensions dug in her nose with her nasty finger and didn’t wash her hands before handling our paperwork.

I had a cleaning done by Nicole. She did a great job compared to other offices I've been to. I had a detailed exam after Dr. Vu read my x-rays and found I had no cavities. He explained different options in a way I could understand and agree with. As a kid my braces were taken off too early at an office in Iowa so the spaces where teeth were pulled out didn't get closed in. I decided to finish my ortho treatment here in addition to implants. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Vu and his staff were phenomenal. Very professional and organized. Was able to get a cleaning and 2 fillings done in one appointment. They also worked with my insurance company for proper billing. Drove from Blue Earth to see Dr. Vu. Couldn't ask for a better dental experience. No pain at all and very friendly and honest and not to mention very knowledgeable and experienced. Highly recommend to everyone.

I saw a coupon on their website & decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did because I had a great experience there. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. I honestly felt like they truly care about you and your needs. Dr. Vu explained, in details, the options as well as the risks and benefits for each option. Nothing was pushed on me.
