I went to Lifesmiles with a broken tooth that I knew needed fixing, but it wasn't an emergency yet. I hadn't been to a dentist for a couple years because my old dentist didn't seem very trustworthy. So I searched for a dentist with the best reviews, and ended up at Lifesmiles. Dr. Gawlik and his amazing assistant Jamie did not disappoint! I ended up needing a root canal and crown on my broken tooth. Dr. Gawlik offered to do the work right then and there, they just had to bounce in and out along the way in order to care for their regularly scheduled patients. It wasn't my first root canal, but it was definitely my most pain free one! The entire staff here is so friendly and caring. The day after my procedure, Dr Gawlik called me personally to see how I was doing. Amazing! People usually only leave reviews for a terrible service encounter, or if they were blown away by great service. Lifesmiles Family Dentistry is well worth all of the 5 star ratings that they've earned!!

We typically only see his staff and him 2x annually for cleaning but each time his staff and him recognize us by name and remembers specific family attributes. My friend Carole,recommended him . I'm thankful she did. I had to cancle a few appointments...but even with that,they continued to be kind and concerned. I have finally after years of trying different dental offices, found my dental home. Thank you so very much.

I chose this dentist based on positive reviews, yet my experience was not positive. I was charged for X-rays in which I was told would be part of my service. When I called I was told that Xrays are usually covered yearly and that I would have to call my insurance to see why I was charged. I called insurance and was told that they are only covered every 24 months. I asked if this is known by the dental offices and was told that the offices typically call to get coverage details. She checked and showed no record of lifesmiles calling to get my coverage. Unfortunately I have to now pay for something that I may have chosen not to do.
Edit: Upon calling to make the payment I was told that the cost had been adjusted. The woman I spoke with apologized and discussed how we can avoid this type of miscommunication in the future. I am very impressed with how this was handled and am changing from one to four stars based on follow up experience.
