What's a better review than an entire family that sees the same dentist since 1993? None. This is the best review. I've lived in 3 different states and visited a handful of dentists- no one is as gentle and skilled as the hygienists and Dr. Gawlik at Lifesmiles Family Dentistry. NO ONE. I've known some of the staff since I was 8 and they remembered me when came back after a 10 year gap. Talk about a place where everyone knows your name...
But in all seriousness, the staff is professional, friendly and they listen. You won't find a better dentist or team. I have referred multiple friends who sing the same praises. I recently visited the office for the bi-annual check-up (May 2020) and they are 100% prepared and capable of making it a safe experience.
Not to sound too braggy, but my teeth are amazing, I get compliments all the time. And it not genetics, I started with a hot mess of a mouth and now it's a beautiful swan. Just book the appointment already.....

The entire staff that I have been fortunate enough to trust with my dental care for many years are collectively and individually a delight. Dr Gawlik is the only dentist to call me at home the night of a procedure to see how I was doing. I will not name each staff member for fear of leaving one out. The are all simply the best!

It had been a few years since I had been to the dentist. I was new in town, and I had always went to the same dentist since I was about 8 years old to 22 years old. I was nervous about going to a new place. I had talked to Julie on the phone a few times about appointment times that worked for my schedule and getting my old records transferred. She was very helpful and called me the next day to let me know there was an opening for an earlier date that worked with my schedule. The minute I walked in I felt so welcome! All of the staff was so nice! Cheryl I believe was the dental hygienist that I was with and she was also very friendly, always kept me informed on what she was doing, or going to do next and answered all of my questions. .Dr. Gawlik was also very friendly and helped the transition to this new facility an excellent one! I would recommend Lifesmiles to anyone.

My first time here - ended up being in the chair about 2 1/2 hours. (It had been a while since I last visited a dentist.) I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to do all work needed. Return next week for 2 crowns. Everyone - Dr Gawlik and Kristen (dental assistant) and the dental hygienist - who worked with me was professional and yet personable. Have had amazingly little pain. While no visit to the dentist is enjoyable, I am more than pleased with my experience here.

Lifesmiles is the best! I recently had to have a tooth pulled. They got me in to the office quickly, and they held my hand when my anxiety kicked in. Our family has been going to Dr. John Gawlik & Lifesmiles Family Dentistry for over 20 years and we are completely happy with the service. Scheduling is always easy and the friendly phone calls & text reminders are great for a busy family. The staff always puts the patients first and are great about discussing dental plans with us. My name is Kristen and I am the newest member of the LFD team. I wanted to leave a review for the office, because I couldn't be more wowed or impressed by Dr. Gawlik and the staff here.
It didn't take long to realize that I really was working alongside some of the most kind, genuine, and hardworking people I've come across. I was most impressed at my interview when I was told that most of the staff had been working here for 10-20+ years. I thought that said a lot about Dr. Gawlik and how he treats his staff and the people around him. I have been most impressed by his demeanor with patients, skill and work-ethic, and his encouragement of teamwork within the office -- all the qualities that I think make a great leader and a great dentist.

I just got a cavity filled and as always, Doc was efficient and quick with his procedure. I was told that it would take 40 minutes and I walked in at 7:00am on the dot and back in my car at 7:41am, great space and the staff is always amazing. They make you feel like apart of the family, thanks Dr. G!
