Today's Dental MN

Called today August 26 and was seen within half hour after my call. (Tooth pain) came in and the Receptionist was generous. The Dental Assistant Tamara is so kind and respectful. The dentist Michelle is polite, honest and explains herself very well. This place is amazing. I keep coming back and specially in an Emergency!
#1 place for me. I'll be bringing my daughter when she turns 6! Great job all staff. You all work fast and efficient. Great team. Great attitude! 👌👍❤️

Went in two times before and didn’t really have any issues until they pulled my teeth and the male dentist was HORRIBLE! He actually choked me and had his hand gripped around my throat trying to pull my tooth out and while I tried to get out from the grip and tell him he was choking me he told me I was being dramatic and that I was fine but I legitimately couldn’t breath he had been crushing my throat and not to mention was yanking my jaw so hard that my front teeth almost cracked under the pressure and force . I left the office in literal tears and never felt more traumatized in my life! Would not recommend even if it’s all your insurance will cover I promise it’s not worth it!!! I also had come to my scheduled appointment on time even 15 minutes early and waited in the lobby having to stand for 40 minutes after my scheduled time before being taken to the back!

I have been going to Today’s Dental for quite a few years now. I have had many incidents when I needed dental care immediately. I call Jacque the office manager, and she has always gotten me in to see someone in record time! It doesn’t matter if it is a holiday or a Friday, I get a response. She asks for details of my issue, requests pictures, and my problems, and she gets me an appointment with the person I need to see, and with in a day or two I am better. I am extremely grateful for the devotion Today’s Dental has provided me, and recommend them to everyone! Thank you Today’s Dental and their staff, I don’t know what I would do with out you!!!!

It took them an hour and a half to do the crappiest permanent crowns I've ever had done. My teeth do not close right anymore. They tried blaming my other teeth but my other teeth came together fine before they ruined my teeth. The office manager got me in on 3/1/16 to get my perminent caps put on. There is no place to sit, even children are forced to sit on the dirty floor. Its only about 60 degrees in here I'm compulsively shaking like every other time I've been here. This place constantly runs at the least 20 minutes behind your scheduled appointment, if your that lucky. The front desk staff person I spoke with was rude, spoke in a horrible tone, and refused to help me. Worst dentist ever. Do not go here. It smells of mold & the ceiling tiles are soaking wet. They ruined my teeth. My first temporary didn't last for even 20 minutes, well it started breaking immediately after I left when I was a mile or two away. The second temporary lasted longer but came lose last Friday, they cannot get me in till next Friday. I called last Friday & requested to speak with the office manager. I was never called back & the front desk staff was nice this time but didn't offer to have me come in to check the second temporary I had to have, nor did I get a call back. I'm assuming the front desk staff never even told the office manager. This place is disgusting. I'll be going to an office that is cleanly & that the staff is professional & the dentists are more competent.

I schedule a cleaning for this location. When I got there, they took xray, looked at my teeth and told me to come back and schedule the cleaning for another day. What a waste of time and money. The wait was long, I got there at my schedule time and had to wait over 40 minutes with no cleaning. Many people who was there had to wait outside and there was no room to sit in the small lobby. DO NOT go there. From my observation, they do not have enough people to complete their daily task and over book people for the same time. I'd rate it a zero star if I had the option. Run Run Run, go somewhere else!!!!!!!

Today’s dental has always been my go to dental office. I am 34 weeks pregnant and was in for a very much needed deep cleaning that I scheduled over a month ago . Today , i went in for my 1pm appointment but was told I arrived early by front desk and was also told no to worry and that the hygienist could see me. I thought to my self oh great as was already tired and didn’t have to wait .the hygienist was very unprofessional, unpleasant to say the least . She was already in a hurry and wouldn’t even let me talk, she had a very unprofessional attitude. She told me that her 1:30 patient was gonna come in and that she would have to tend to them. To which I replied, I wasn’t made aware of this . She then got more upset and her tone had already changed at this point and she kept asking me if I wanted to do this or not as she didn’t wanna argue with me any more . I just got up and left the seat because I didn’t trust her to complete my cleaning at this point. She was by far the worst professional I ever dealt with . I went to the front desk and the lady told me there was only one hygienist and that there was nothing she could do . Mind you I waited over a month for this appointment and not to mention I drove an hour for this whilst being 34 weeks pregnant only to be treated like this . I plan to file a complaint with my insurance company and with the today’s dental manager.. my goal is to bring awareness to this ignorant behavior. Health professionals should do better !!!

The dentist assistant was really nice but the doctor didn't even talk to me at all. He was more interested in flirting with the assistant than helping me. Never even introduced himself but apparently he was the owner it was a wasted of my time because they couldn't even get the tooth out. I don't think they numb me properly because i felt pain when i just was suppose to feel pressure. Referred me to oral surgeon that couldn't help me either.

I schedule an appointment two weeks in advanced for a cleaning, got to the dental place and waited 20 min before I was seen only to get x-Rays done. They didn't even call to let me know that the doctor was not in to do my teeth cleaning. What a piece of crap. Seriously un professional. I left work early because with their hours it's hard to get an appointment only for them to tell me to reschedule. I'm just so upset that they did not call me. Never going there again. Worse experience ever!!!

I read the reviews before making an appointment at this office and I will be honest with you I was scared!!!! But being on state insurance this was one of my only options and with this type of insurance I do not expect a high class establishment (lets face it a place that takes state funded programs cant expect much) But out of my experience here I loved it place was clean ,staff was amazing and great doctors. They really make you feel relaxed. I have to say when I was working and had different insurance and went to another dental office yes that place was nicer looking but the people at Today Dental are well worth the change. Thank you for your help today with my cleaning. I will be back and recommend anybody that's looking for a dental office.

The front desk staff was very helpful and nice, but the welcome area was quite full and didn't seem very clean or well lit. It just wasn't very welcoming.
Upon being taken back, my hygienist seemed to rush through everything. He rushed me to do some X-rays, and the front desk ladies were very nice in amusing my daughter during this (she had an appointment directly after). After the X-rays were done, he asked me a few quick questions, though it was hard to understand because he was talking so fast and seemed to be rushing through them. During the cleaning, I mentioned that I have sensitive teeth and gums, and despite this he still yanked away and seemed to rush through cleaning my teeth. I bled a lot, which is partially due to not flossing as often as I should, but he was really rough on my gums. I had scrapes on my gums from where he pressed the little mirror's handle against my gums so hard. It was AWFUL. Then, the dentist came in, they gave me a rushed consultation, and said we were done and rushed me out of the office. They weren't personal or friendly, or even that fake professional-friendly. I was literally just a number with a dollar sign to them. After my appointment, my daughter wouldn't open her mouth, and I was rather thankful.
I also wasn't impressed with the fact that they billed me for an Oral Hygiene Instruction (the 30 seconds the doctor stopped to go over my X-rays I'm guessing), without asking me if I would like the instruction. I feel like if it's an additional charge to the cleaning, I should have been made aware of it, and asked if I would like it. I'm severely disappointed in this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
