I scheduled my 3 yo son for a cleaning. The hygienist did a fantastic job with him and thoroughly explained everything. They were fun and light hearted with him. He did great. He needed a filling done. During the next appointment to get the filling done, Dr hutchens seemed uncomfortable but allowed me to explain what was going on to my son so he would be more comfortable. She however, did not talk to him and appeared flustered when he moved. When he didn't sit still she was quick to deny the treatment and send us to another dentist. I'm sure she is a good dentist to youths and adults however I would stronger advise that you do not bring children to her practice. Now we are on another wait list to get his tooth fix only adding more time that it's festering. I wish her office would have been more honest with their capacities.
