While Hutchens is a good dentist and the hygienists do a decent enough job, I cannot recommend this dentist, who I did go to with my family for over 10 years. The bookkeeping system and/or bookkeeper are totally in the dark ages. The other dentist Dr.Crook I have had 3 other dentists dispute his findings on two family members. I have referred friends and two called me and told me they would never go back. I find it very unprofessional to talk to patients in an open waiting room filled with clients about finances and insurance. Multiple trips to have a crown put back on that fell out. I would make an appt with one dentist and come in and be seen by the other dentist because mine was on vacation-no call to me to let me know or anything. They dropped covering my insurance and did not even tell me until AFTER accruing bills with their office-very tacky. There are much better dentists in Cambridge area that are superior dentists and better at service.Did I mention the giant portraits of staff in the lobby-esp. the huge single one of Hutchens that belongs on a dating site not plastered on a dental office wall.

We love this dental office! Even our 8 year old son, who has had traumatic dental experiences and usually has total panic attacks as soon as the chair starts to recline, loves it here. The hygienist saw him began to panic and paused to talk him through it, and went through things slowly while helping reassure him that he was okay. Melissa Hutchens was equally amazing with him. I never thought that he would like going to the dentist! Our 5 year old loves Dr. Crook! He’s had fillings and didn’t even feel the novacaine because of a special technique they use. No tears! I was shocked! My 3 year old has SPD and they were amazing with him as well. They even managed to get him to let them do the full cleaning! I can barely get him to let me brush his teeth without a battle! My husband has major fears when it comes to going to the dentist, and he LOVES this place. Our whole family goes here now, and it’s amazing. We won’t go anywhere else!

Dr Adon Crook has cared for my teeth for nearly a decade now. Always takes the time to determine the best course and communicate with me how it's gotta go. Such a big baby about dental work, I am, but, I trust Dr. Crook and his staff immensely. Highly recommend!

I was super grateful to have the assistants of the staff. My son who is only 15 months old chipped a tooth on a sippy cup. They were very patience with my son. He had to have a sharp edge smoothed down.The Dr explained a lot to me about if he chips a tooth again on what to do and look for.

After no dental care as a child, and very limited care as an adult, I've avoided dentists for the last 6 years. Finally I knew it was time to go in. Thanks to the (complimentary) nitrous oxide, my anxiety has decreased enough to keep me coming back. The staff is non-judgmental, funny, and careful. They even have so much patience for my 9-year-old chatterbox! I'm so excited to finally take care of my dental issues... something I NEVER thought I'd say!

I was very happy to find Dr. Hutchens after my dentist of 45 years retired. I am now on Medicare and had no dental insurance. Dr Hutchens was professional and personable. Her clinic also offered a limited dental insurance package for those of us without insurance. Her staff was informative in explaining the service. Sadly, I had a cavity that required filling. I was brave and did it without Novocaine!! (which was my idea, not their protocol). I was very happy with the friendly staff and care I received. I will return next year.
