My family and I have went to this Dentist for 25 years. After the new owner took over, it was clear we had to take our business elsewhere. My dad had an appointment scheduled, they called and cancelled on him because one of their hygienists called in sick and then when he asked to reschedule they said they didn't have availability for another 3 months. They said they would call him as soon as something else opened up and he never received a phone call back.

My whole life I was self conscious of my smile. I dreaded taking pictures. When I was younger I had several teeth removed due to overcrowding. It made my teeth straight but never quite looked right. I went through many consults with other dentists and specialists and they all recommended jaw surgery. Dr. Bril and his team took a unique approach to my situation. They really took the time to figure out what was important to me and how we could best achieve that without surgery. I now have a smile I am extremely confident in and I can’t wait to smile for the camera. I can’t thank Dr. Bril and his team enough, they completely changed my life.

I struggled with migraines and jaw pain for 15 years after I had braces as a teenager. I had tried mouthguards, multiple chiropractors, physical therapy, and had to take over the counter pain medication on a daily basis. From my first phone call the staff was very great to work with and I felt they truly understood what I was as going through. Dr. Kevin was able to get rid of my jaw pain and significantly reduce the intensity and frequency of headaches or neck pain. As an added bonus, I was able to make cosmetic changes to my smile and LOVE the way it looks more than ever!

Very disappointed in how a misunderstanding was handled. After the new owner took over the practice, I asked if my current plan would still be accepted and if it would cover my service, and then I confirmed when the plan expired. I was told it was still accepted, but that once it expired it would no longer be accepted (which made sense). So I went in for my appointment, but only AFTER my appointment was over was I told that my plan was no longer accepted due to new ownership (which was exactly the opposite from what I was told over the phone - by the same person). Rather than trying to resolve the misunderstanding, I was simply told that I had to pay for the service. I was clearly not their desired clientele, and so they made no effort to work with me. I understand that they have every right to decide what plans they accept and which ones they don't, but I should have been notified before my appointment that a change had been made and that my plan was no longer accepted. No flexibility or transparency.

Sweet Jesus what a wonderful experience my first time there!! Everyone was so kind, knowledgeable and forthright. The staff is warm, hospitable, empathetic and made me feel comfortable within minutes. Dr Bril was very thorough and gave me three options on how to treat my problems. Most people hate going to the dentist and I am definitely one of those people until visiting Eden Prairie Smiles. Let me start by explaining why I no longer "fear" the dentist! The care the Dr. Mesa showed by making sure I was not in pain by using some sort of topical gel to make the shots of novocaine painless was appreciated and allowed me to not be so tense while sitting in the chair. I also had a great experience with the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth that day as she was very friendly and made sure I understood fully what my options were with the dental care I needed. The other things that stuck out to me was how friendly and engaging the staff is. You can tell that they really love what they do and are truly thankful you have choose them for your dental needs. The other part that I highly recommend is if you don't have insurance they have a great family plan that helped me and I received a discount for being a cash customer. I could go on and on about how happy I have been since finding this gem of a dentist office. Thank you for taking wonderful care of my family and doing so in a professional and caring manor.
