I LOVE Dental Care Centers of South Kansas City in Martin City! Like a good majority of people, I'm not a fan of the dentist. I have a hard time finding a good one that doesn't A. tell me all my teeth are rotting out and I need 72 fillings, B. try to sell me every product they have in their office or C. have zero personable skills and clean my teeth in total silence and don't care whether or not they're hurting me.
The staff at this dentist office are like freakin' Unicorns with rainbow horns and sunshine for hair. Seriously. Everyone I came in contact with was so genuinely nice. The ladies who did my xrays and cleaning were great. Always making sure I was comfortable, made conversation, but not in that weird "I'm going to ask you questions while I'm cleaning your teeth so you can't answer" sort of way. Then Dr. Stiver came in to go over everything and make sure I was in the clear, answered any questions I had and never made me feel pressured to do something that wasn't necessary. (Which thankfully, nothing was.)
If you're looking for a dentist, I highly, HIGHLY recommend them. They even offer sedation if you REALLY don't like the dentist, and I'd honestly feel they'd do what's needed and nothing more unlike some dentists.

Ommmggggg! I love Dental Care Center! The office is super cozy and cute & the staff is amazing everyone is smiling and so nice. My hygienist and dentist worked out an awesome plan for recovery for me after not seeing the dentist for a couple years I was a little scared at first but even with the damage I’ve done no scolding only great advice for recovery! We have been with Dental Care Center for 2 years now and I thought it would be beneficial to update my review. I've worn a night guard for years now and have issues with clenching and grinding. My front bottom teeth were really sore and I mentioned this when I went for a cleaning a few months ago and my bite felt a bit off. My hygienist mentioned Invisalign and I knew that would be expensive but if I needed it I would do it. Dr. Stiver took a look and said that he wouldn't want me wasting my money on Invisalign when he could do an equilibration. This is where they reshape your teeth in the office and so much less expensive. He mentioned that I should get a new night guard as well, of which I knew I needed anyway. The night guard he suggested was made by a dentist who had migraines (I have them really bad) and helps to deter you from clenching. While it was a bit pricy it has been a life saver and I'll get great use out of it. Back to the equilibration... This is something that you get done in multiple visits. For me it was a LOT of visits and I may need to go back again. Total cost for this (not including the night guard) was $250. The BEST money EVER spent! I'm pretty sure I've went 10+ times for an equilibration and they never once made me feel bad for coming in. No extra charge whatsoever. It's extremely hard to find a dentist who wants the best for you and not just $$$. While Dr. Stiver could have said I needed Invisalign he didn't and he saved me thousands of dollars. I seriously cannot say enough about how amazing this office is and how much they really do care about their patients.

BEWARE! This place ‘buys’ 5 star reviews with gift cards. They provided horrible care for my wife, messed up my insurance, and were not easy to deal with. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
