We moved to this area a few years ago and this is the best dentist and office staff we have ever seen. They are all super friendly, well mannered, and make you feel very comfortable. Any and all questions are answered and I have always had my calls returned in a timely manner. They work they have performed on my daughters were outstanding as well. They are completely up front about everything. I do not have one bad thing to say, except maybe put some recliners in the waiting room and a tv for the parents, lol. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist!! 5 stars from me!!!

Shoal Valley Dental is hands down the best dental service our family has ever experienced. All of the staff are great. They are very friendly and professional. Dr. Journee and his staff went WAY beyond the call of duty to take care of my son, who had some major dental issues. They are so good that we pulled our children from another dental group in the area and now Shoal Valley has our entire family. I recommend them 100%

Dr. Journee was excellent during my filling. He made it as painless as possible. I appreciated the way he coached me through it, communicating and counting down the minutes and seconds saying, "40 seconds until you would walk though the door." I feel freedom to convey my comfort level during each of my visits. Very grateful!

Dr Journee and the Shoal Valley Dental staff are awesome. Everyone answered my questions and I could tell from my last appointment that Dr Journee is not only an awesome Dentist, but a great teacher as well. I noticed he would quiz and explain why he was doing certain things with his staff so they learned valuable information, as well as some tips and tricks for certain procedures. Heck, just sitting in the dental chair listening made me want to go to dental school and learn too. LOL
Overall, a great experience. I look forward to getting any future dental work done by Dr Journee and Shoal Valley Dental staff!

Today was our first visit to this office and It was a great experience. My son is 5 and gets nervous but they made him very comfortable. Everyone was very nice and our dentist Dr. Wick was exceptional!

Wonderful office! Staff is very nice and knowledgeable and always tries to work around your schedule. Dr. Wick is EXCEPTIONAL! Our whole family has been coming here for years. They always know our name and he is great with kids. We feel like family.

I took my 6 year old granddaughter in for a crown. Dr. Banhart talked to her directly and comforted her (and meme). He told her exactly what he was going to do before doing it. She was such a big girl! I was nervous about not taking her to a pediatric dentist but I am so glad I chose Shoal Valley. Dr. Wick Sr and Paige were fantastic as well.

I never knew how great this dental office was until I moved to another state. It was such a pleasure to have Dr. Wick as my dentist and he is the best dentist I ever met! I highly recommend this place!

This isn't my regular dentist, but I had two big fillings fall out at once and mine was absolutely booked. I called and they managed to fit me in a little under a week later to take a look and get things fixed.
I don't really have dental anxiety but I was in a lot of discomfort when I came in. They stopped as soon as I showed any kind of pain, and the assistant (Tasha, I believe) was so sweet and kept rubbing my shoulder and reminding me to breathe any time things got rough. We had to stop several times due to pain, but they assured me it was no issue even if it made them get a little behind in the end.
In all, a very positive experience for me, and I plan on going back since it's closer than my regular place anyways. Thanks, y'all!

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to dental work. The procedure I had today is one that I have put off for 6 years. Dr. Wick was calming and let me know what was going on the entire time. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I am so grateful to have had a dental appointment that was so positive!
