Dr. Rehme's approach to dentistry is kind and informative. His office is warm and inviting. Not only did I get my dental issues resolved but he gave many helpful pointers on the relationship between the health of our teeth and our body. I highly recommend his practice.

This practice is the best. I was in St. Louis this past weekend and had a tooth pain but was miles and miles from home. They were so nice and accommodating to get me in to their office. If was anywhere to this shop i would come back again.

I've been dealing with chronic sinus problems ever since I could remember, but when I hit menopause my problems got much bigger. I was diagnosed with an auto immune disorder by my rheumatologist. My doctor of functional medicine tested me for food allergies several years before and told me I was sensitive to mercury. When I showed him my mouth was full of amalgam fillings he recommended I have them removed. It took me several years to get the courage to even look into it, because I had 4 crowns and 9 fillings. I was scared removing this would cause more problems and lead to other complications. I am so happy I finally had them removed by Dr. Rehme. He took care of the right side of my mouth first and within a couple of weeks I could feel a huge difference. The constant drainage stopped on the right side and everything felt lighter. They just completed the removal for the left side today, and I feel fantastic. Dr. Rehme and the entire staff are remarkable. They're very caring and professional. They answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable through the entire process.

Dr. Rehme is an exceptionally well qualified biological dentist who treats the whole person and not just the teeth!
Been with him for several years and all treatments & teeth cleaning have been excellent. Highly recommended!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rehme for over 20 years. Over the years, I have required extensive dental work and have always received great care. A couple years ago, I had a dental emergency on a Friday evening and after calling Dr. Rehme - I discovered that he was vacationing out of town. He was returning on Saturday and was kind enough to spend several hours on that Sunday morning to give me me a temporary solution.
Great dentist!

I was led to Rehme Dental Care at the recommendation of my Naturopath to remove my mercury almagams. Despite heightened anxiety about dental work, each visit has been such a positive experience. It is obvious that Dr. Rehme and his staff truly care about their patients health and well-being, during the visit and long term.

I have always feared the dentist after many bad experiences, but a tooth extraction in April of 2021 left me in a horrible way to say the least. Dr Rehme performed a cavitation and fixed an area that I have been in pain with for 14 months. I'm still healing, but definitely feeling better. I will 100% be returning and hopefully overcome my fear of dentists now that I have found one who is educated and knows that their are other forms of treatment.

An accidental root canal lead me to have an infection in my jaw and eight surgeries. I had stitches in my mouth for over 8 months of the last 2 years, have felt depleted, depressed, angry, anxious and overall extremely traumatized.

The previous surgeon I worked with was interested in my holistic perspective to dentistry and attempted all the things I wanted done but failed, miserably. I had seven surgeries with him, including extraction, cavitation surgery, multiple rounds of bone graphing and skin graphing, and finally a zirconia implant. During one of the surgeries a piece of my jaw was knocked loose and he screwed it together with a screw. Well I had a biocompatibility test done before we started and found I was allergic to alluminum and nickel. He used a screw that had alluminum and my body went into a hyperactive response. This caused nerve damage that spans from my jaw, neck, shoulder and down my left arm. I felt light headed everytime I stood, it created TMJ, ringing in my ears, balance issues and the list of horrible side effects never ended. I felt like my body was dieing.

After all I went through, my implant was failing do to the trauma it had received from the screw and the cap getting stuck (another saga of torture I endured). I literally lived a nightmare for 2 years having surgeries every 2 months and then trying to recover in the in-between while still being a Mother, wife, friend, keeping my business going, etc.

I knew I didn't want to go back to the previous surgeon who failed so miserably. I found 3 top surgeons and had consultations which each of them (there went another $1000). And still was struck with anxiety every night, not sleeping and feeling so traumatized. It was very late one night where I stumbled across Dr. Rehme's website, and mainly his reviews/testimonies. I read testimony after testimony and knew as soon as I woke up I had to call. It gave me both terror and comfort knowing there were others suffering as much as me and that Dr. Rehme helped.

At 8 AM that next morning I called and was seen soon after. At my consultation I cried, because it's both embarrassing and it was a lot to go through. He did a very in depth exam using a holistic approach and everything he had to say was in line with what I knew I needed and wanted. He provided me with the same 3 options as my other consultations. However, he offered a holistic - whole body approach. Other treatment plans went as long as 3 more years. I couldn't mentally or physically endure that. So I made the decision to sacrifice 2 adjacent teeth and have no foreign objects in my body.

The surgery went as expected, they used enough anesthesia to put an elephant down and God bless the sweet anesthesiaologoist who held my hand throughout my lengthy surgery. Dr. Rehme, removed my implant, the cavitation and did bone graphing using my own platelets. He took 2 adjacent teeth and prepped them for a bridge.

I recovered in record time. Seriously. Not only that, I felt semi alive again just a few days later. Here I am 6 weeks later with a beautiful smile. I didn't think this nightmare would ever end for me. Last night after my final crown was placed I squeezed my eyes so tight and heard Dr. Rehme say "ok the moment of truth" and when I opened my eyes Dr. Rehme, his son (who he also practices with), and a couple assistants were all about a foot away from my face. Smiling... Telling me how great it looks, how pretty I was, how pretty the teeth complimented my smile. I had tears streaming down my face. His office only had a tiny glimpse into the suffering I endured and it that moment over 2 years of pain and trauma was completed and I had Dr. Rehme's office there, supporting me.

When I walked out with tears streaming, everyone in the office wanted to see my smile and it overwhelmed in a beautiful way. I'm writing this lengthy review in hopes it helps someone like me who is suffering and feels like it will never end. It does, thanks to Dr. Rehme and his team. Thank you for giving me my confidence back.

I've been seeing Dr. Rehme for years. In my opinion, he is the best dentist in St. Louis. He thinks outside the box and knows more about the relationship to your overall health and teeth than any dentist that I have ever met. Highly recommend him.

I had my first appointment with doctor Rehme today. After dealing with some health issues this past year I became determined to take charge of my health. It was brought to my attention by my doctor that the fillings in my mouth contained heavy metals and that this could be at least partially responsible for symptoms that I’ve been experiencing. I had no idea. I’ve had three fillings since my early teens, and it never occurred to me that they would put something so toxic in my mouth! My doctor then recommended Dr. Rehme, a “holistic dentist.” I never knew there was such a thing! Today I had a cleaning, exam and x-rays. I have an appointment set up to have my old fillings removed. My experience was overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Rehme and his staff were very friendly and attentive, they listened well and answered my questions. They knew I was nervous, but they explained each step and did everything to make me as comfortable as possible. They are very thorough, and you don’t feel like they are rushing you through. I feel like they are genuinely interested in doing all they can to improve my health. I actually look forward to going back! This feels like my first experience with real dentistry!
