Lincoln Family Dentistry

My experiences with Lincoln Family Dentistry have been outstanding. Dr. Kelly O'Harra is empathetic and a personable dentist. I was worried about going to the dentist after a prolonged absence, but I was met with friendly, nonjudgmental staff at Lincoln Family Dentistry. I recommend this practice to all of my family and friends.

We LOVE Dr. Kelly O'Hara! Dr. Kelly is super patient and understanding with our two-year old who had so much fun she came home and started playing "dentist" immediately and hasn't stopped since! Dr. Kelly is phenomenal for our whole family and truly cares for her patients. We highly recommend Dr. Kelly!

I moved to Nebraska from Arkansas last year and needed to find a new dentist. I always do my research before considering a consultation and my biggest deciding factor is the reviews on Google and Yelp. Lincoln Family Dentistry was the first on my list to contact for a consultation and to make a very long story short, LFD was the only dental office I needed to call. I’ve been to the office a few times now and I honestly have nothing bad to say about the staff or the services I have received. Dr. O’Hara and the rest of the staff are always friendly and attentive and strive to make the visit comfortable and timely and I appreciate them for helping to keep my dentist anxiety at bay :) At this office you don’t get the feeling that you’re just another patient and I would highly recommend Lincoln Family Dentisty to anybody.

The paper work only took me 5-10 minutes and the lady at the front helped me out and was very kind. when i let my doctor she was very good at explaining everything in detail so i could understand. this place is the best dentist i’ve ever gone too.

I had not gone to a dentist for what I would consider an embarrassingly long time. (Mostly because I couldn't afford it) Eventually I developed a fear of going to the dentist because I had not been in so long I didn't know what to expect.

I think that a large amount of fear of going to the dentist is based around the expectation of being judged by your dentist for not doing a good enough job taking care of your teeth, and the expectation of bad news.

Northstar dental seems to be based around the philosophy of not not judging you or scolding you about your teeth. And everything they do is designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable the moment you enter the building. The modern design of the furniture and decorations in the waiting room remove any idea that its a dentist office which from my past experience many have a hospital feel.

The rooms where you are examined are very comfortable and have you facing a large picture window outside with a little piece of wilderness right on the edge of Lincoln. I even saw a few deer walking around one time I was there. Additionally each room has a small TV that they will let you watch while they are working on your teeth.

The impressive office is equally matched by the friendly people who work there. My first time going I sat down with my hygienist and talked so we could get to know each other and she could understand my dental history. After my x-rays and cleaning I sat down with one of the dentists in the office Kathryn. She took the time to get to know me as well, and on my returning visits that she's been there she's always come in and said Hi to me and asked me how things were going, and she would bring up things we talked about last time, which is a nice touch. I like how I always seem the same people every time I go which helps build a relationship between the staff and myself.

One important thing to mention is that I've never experienced any undue pain during any of my visits. Everyone is very gentle and experienced and go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Finally, I really enjoy the time the staff takes to discuss the state of my teeth with me. We always sit down and look at the X-rays of my teeth and talk about what needs to be done and where there could be potential problems. I feel like many dentists just assume you wont understand and kind of keep those things separate from your experience. I appreciate that Northstar keeps you involved in your own dental health.

I don't know how there could be a better dental experience in Lincoln that Nothstar dental. I always recommend them to my friends when I get a chance.

This is the most comfortable dentist I have ever been to. From the time I walk in to the time I walk out, I feel like family. Thank you for doing what you all do!

Lincoln Family Dentistry is terrific! Dr. O'Hara is patient and helpful, taking time to answer any questions and make you feel at ease. Kara and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. As an added bonus, the office is clean and bright, with big windows overlooking O Street.

I love Lincoln family dentistry. I was able to get in on a Monday after having a terrible toothache all weekend. You are greeted with a warm friendly smile that makes you feel right at home. The exam rooms are clean and smell good. I'm changing from my local Dentist. I will be a life long client from now on.

This is a great dentist office. I have enjoyed my contact with the hygienist, the receptionist, and Dr. Kelly O’Hara. Everything was explained to me and made me as comfortable as they can. I would recommend 100% to go there.
