Dr. Kathryn and Dr. Brad Alderman have both done wonders for me. I had a fear of dentists and they helped me with that. They were so gentle and welcoming. I went in to SouthPointe Dental this week for the first time and I was very impressed. Prior to moving to Lincoln, I had had the same dentist for years that I had come to trust as though he was part of the family. After moving to Lincoln and visiting SouthPointe, I have that same feeling of trust in the Doctors and staff. Immediately upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by the front office staff. As I was on my lunch break, I was initially worried about how long it might take, but after filling out a brief questionnaire, I was immediately seen by Dr. Sydney Unzicker and her hygienist, Brenda.
Brenda was extremely warm and professional. I was very impressed by how quickly Brenda was able to complete my cleaning (~20 minutes). Also, I had never seen the cleaning device that she used before, but it made it so I barely felt anything while she was cleaning.
After the cleaning, Dr. Sydney came to check back in and she really seemed to take an interest in how the overall experience was for me. I didn't get the feeling that I was just a patient. Dr. Sydney has a great, bubbly personality that makes you feel like you've known her for years. Overall, I could not be more impressed by how friendly the SouthPointe team is and the professionalism that they exuded. I would definitely recommend SouthPointe to anyone looking for a new dentist.

It had been quite some time since I had been to a dentist. Mainly because of horrible experiences that I have had in the past with numerous other Dentists. Dr. Kathryn Alderman and ALL her staff at Southpointe are just absolutely the best. They actually take the time to go over your concerns and fears and they listen to what you are saying. I had to have the deep cleaning done and 6 cavities filled. This was done in 2 visits. The gal who did the deep cleaning is crazy good at what she does (I cannot believe I can't remember her name because she is awesome). I live over an hour away (one way), and coming to Southpointe Dental is completely worth the drive.

I just finished a year long process of placing multiple dental implants and I have nothing but positive feedback for the expertise of this excellent dentist. Dr.Brad Alderman is a dental magician and a brilliant dentist. He works with a speed and precision that I have never seen before. I never experienced any significant pain throughout the entire process and I credit this to his quickness and skillfulness in the mastery of his work. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you are going to have to endure this lengthy dental process anyway, make sure it's an expert handling it. You absolutely will not regret going to this amazing Lincoln dentist.
