Regency Dental Omaha

Doctor Spanel was amazing! He did an amazing job on fixing the gap between my teeth that I was very insecure about.I get nervous about the dentist and he made me feel welcomed, safe, and had great conversation during the procedure. His assistant Kiana was also very kind and had amazing conversation. They are professional and I am very happy about the service I received. I would rate them higher if I could. I feel blessed to have found Regency Dental.

Absolute worst dental experience I have ever had - be very careful before calling or stepping foot in this place.

When I first called, they made it seem seamless and like they could get me in very quickly. I showed up for my cleaning appointment and the front desk receptionist gave me an entire packet of children's paperwork to fill out when I am an adult. We basically wasted 15 minutes of our time filling out the wrong paperwork to wait until her colleague came back. Once her colleague was back she gave me the right paperwork since, obviously, I'm not a parent bringing my children in, I'm an adult...

Once I was brought back into the office - Regency Dental proceeded to not even complete the cleaning that was scheduled. Instead, they spent about 30-40 minutes taking x-rays and embarrassing me around the office by bringing in each dentist to look at the problem I was having with my tooth.
What ever happened to patient confidentiality? Why are there multiple dentists being involved in a procedure/cleaning that has been assigned to one dentist? Very shady business practices going on over here. Then they outsource and send me to another dental office for surgery, and then re-schedule my cleaning for 7 AM today (one of the worst times for me possible).

Fast forward to today - I was eager to make it to my appointment (despite the time and me working until 4 am the night before) to see how my surgery went and how Regency Dental could help with their treatment plan, but I was appalled when I left running about 5 minutes late. I spoke to them over the phone to indicate that we were running 5 minutes late, that there was a crash on dodge holding up all the traffic to the dental office, and that I was up late in the morning working my second job and was less than 5 minutes away. They said that it was fine, but the second I showed up they disrespectfully sent me away and said I would need to re-schedule with complete disregard and disrespect for my time. They spent more time arguing with me about re-scheduling the appointment then it would have taken for them to just make up the 10 minutes of time that the crash obstacle took up on my drive to Regency performing the cleaning.

At this point - I felt so disrespected as a patient, and a customer, that I was forced to make the decision to walk out and find a new dental provider.

To make matters worse - as I was leaving the dental assistant from the back yelled out: "Maybe you should make it on time to your appointment next time." - Absolutely unbelievable. Never go here. Never be treated by people this way. You do not deserve it. Go someplace that actually wants to help you.

I called Spring Ridge Dental Care immediately after the experience, shared what had happened, and they were also appalled at the awful customer service and care that Regency provided in this case. They told me they could get me in same week and that even if I was 30 min late to my appointment that they have a window and completely understand that people have lives, jobs, families, and occasionally run a few minutes late and would be sure to get me taken care of.

Regency Dental is a dental office that will offer a poor treatment plan, have poorly structured receptionists handling the paperwork, billing, and scheduling. And ultimately, they don't plan on helping you. You are a number to them and just a paycheck - don't fall for the trap.

This was my first time at Regency Dental and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and Mary went above and beyond on my cleaning. I’m 6 months pregnant and Mary took special care of me making sure I was okay the whole time. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional clean place.

Regency Dental is the best! Merry is an amazing hygienist. She thoroughly explains the process and really works to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Spanel and his staff go above and beyond every time! They made my first cavity filling an extremely quick and easy process. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Spanel and Amy are always so kind, compassionate and caring. Being a dentists daughter, I appreciate how gentle Dr. Spanel is and feel like my questions and concerns always get answered. I highly recommend using Regency Dental.

it’s hard to find a good dentist, but Dr. Spanel and his staff at regency has been absolutely amazing! they are great at making you feel comfortable, and are fast, efficient and GENTLE.

Going to the dentist is not my favorite way to spend time, but Juli, the hygienist here, makes my visits as pleasant and pain-free as they could possibly be. She is kind, personable, and obviously has a great memory—she remembers our past conversations and inquires about my family, travel, etc. In other words, I don’t feel anonymous or as just a patient.

Listen I am a grown women who is terrified not the dentist and everyone in this office was great! The Dentist I didn’t even feel the shots but the gas also was a big help!!

BEST EVER hygienist, Charlene. Dr. Spanel has been great, too. The current front office/desk staff is very pleasant and. helpful. My husband and I have been patients there for several years and highly recommend. Only downfall.... they are closed on Friday. However, we make our appointments far in advance to make sure we are on their schedule.
