Needed a temporary dentist while mine was on the I/R. I called Summit Dental and they were quick to get me in and diagnose the severity causing my discomfort. This alone was significant with Covid-19 affecting day to day operations. I felt relaxed and comfortable and was impressed with the treatment I received. Sometimes when we are forced to go outside our comfort zone and see a different doctor, dentist, or even optometrist we tend to think that it's not going to be the same. Something is bound to go wrong, they don't know me like my regular Dr does, or I'm not sure I should of came here. Right? We've all experienced this at some point. I didn't get that here. They were very friendly, helpful, and worked with me on my insurance claims with paperwork etc.. I'm really glad I chose Summit Dental as a fill in for my regular dentist and would recommend them to anyone who is searching for or debating on which dentist to visit for their issue. They will take good care of you and make you feel like you been going there for years. Not to mention they have many different options for those who have limited insurance or even no insurance. Don't let that deter you from seeing a dentist. Everybody deserves to be able to smile. Summit Dental might be your answer to that.

My son has scheduled three appts at the SouthSioux office. Each time there has been an excuse for his appt to be changed. They supposedly had a wrong phone number,the doctor was sick etc. this past Wednesday he called in the morning to confirm his appt and was told that it was cancelled again but they were planning on calling to let him know. He called the office back,was put on hold and when someone finally answered they told him several places he could be seen that pm but they were all in Omaha which is 2 hours from him. The person he was talking to was blaming all the cancelled appts on Covid. Finally discovered the person he was talking to was not even in the South Sioux office but in Kentucky.. needless to say he won’t be coming to this office again..

First I had an appointment about two months ago and they cancelled it on me, and would not prioritize me for a near term visit. I finally get in two months later and something that pre pandemic took well under an hour takes two hours. After this experience I will have to look at other options. They used to be so good. I sat for 20 minutes with numbing gel, by the time they were ready to do novacaine the temp wore off and they had to reapply it. By the time they filled my tooth most of the novacaine wore off. So that sums up my experience. They were always light on the pocketbook which I like but I dont know if I can continue going here.

I've always been afraid of dentists, as a result I had some serious dental issues. I decided to try Summit dental in South Sioux City, Ne. From the very start they've all been great. My dental work is finished now, and I'm a little sad that I won't get to see them anymore. My experience was completely painless, they don't even let you feel the novacane shot. They have followed covid safety practices from the start. They're so friendly, kind, caring and gentle I would recommend them to anyone needing dental work done
