Clear Creek Dental

Husband was seen on Sat for a perio abcess his mouth swelled so much on Sunday that we could not open. Left a message on Sunday asking them to call us back on Monday and still never heard from them. I called them and transferred our records. Would not recommend to anyone. Plus Blancha was very rude on the phone!!

I have been going to Dr. Carman for a long time, he is the best one in town, won't go anywhere else, he is super humble and funny, and my teeth look great!

This morning I was having a dental emergency and in an already filled day I was worked in on the schedule. Dr Carman and his staff were friendly, informative and caring. They handled my appointment with ease and made me feel comfortable throughout my entire visit, when I know how busy they were. So I thank you for your professionalism and also it was so nice to witness the family atmosphere between the staff. Thank you again!!!

I have known Blanca and your staff for several years and they have been fantastic helping our disabled son to be able to get his much needed dental work and exams done. They are beyond kind and thoughtful for everyone in our family and especially their special patients.

I can genuinely say that I’ve never in my life had a better experience with a business than I did with Clear Creek Dental. Which I admit, is a very odd claim to make about a dentist…
If you’re like me and you pay attention to certain details, details that in my opinion matter a great deal in any work environment, you’ll notice fairly quickly, that the entire staff is happy… and not that fake professional happy either, They’re also all so kind, and not that company policy kindness. Genuine Kindness.“The vibe” is impossible to not to notice. Yes I’m talking about a dentists office…This place is rare and special and I feel blessed to have found it. But keep reading, I promise I’m not just saying all of this for little reason.I’m going to try and not drag this review out by describing things that I don’t think my words could ever give justice to, so you’re really just going to have to trust me and see for yourself. Everything I’ve written till now was my personal experience.. so allow me to try and describe my professional experience with Clear Creek Dental.I found Clear Creek after calling no less than 30 other offices in the Reno Tahoe area. It was a Saturday and I was in excruciating pain, ..caused by a root canal I needed but had put off for three months… and I was reminded in the most painful way possible why you should not put off dental work.
Not one dentist was willing to see me that day, let alone give me a root canal like I desperately needed. Especially not ON A SATURDAY.
I’d almost given up when I called Clear Creek and a woman named Jen picked up…I’ll never forget how the conversation went. I told her what was going on and and she told me to come in. It was hard for me to believe it because I’d been told by every other place that specialists needed to be called or that I could be out on an “emergency waiting list” (yes that’s a for real thing apparently) but Jen told me she could get me in that day. That should have been my first clue.This review is getting way too long but I just have so much to say about this place and it’s hard to keep it short.I’ll end with this. Dr Carman saved me from mind numbing pain, not once, but twice in the same week. Dr Carman, like Clear Creak is also very difficult to describe and impossible not to love instantly.
Dr Carman is annoyingly awesome. I’m being serious. No one needs to be that great at that many things.When I heard he also ran track. I nearly vomited. He’s like that Navy Seal Astronaut Medical Doctor. You both need to chill. Which makes what he did for me understandable yet no less mind boggling.
He’s also really funny which has got to make his job unnecessarily difficult… doing dental work in a laughing mouth…This is the part of the story that made me want to tell it to begin with…
Dr Carman gave me something, something that I don’t recall any other human being have given me before today, and I’ll remember it long after all my teeth are gone, even the two he saved. He gave me empathy and pure generosity. Generosity you hear about but you never actually experience.The kind that makes for a great Hallmark Movie.You see, I could not pay for two root canals. I don’t have dental insurance or very much money..And while every other dentist would have recommended an extraction(I know this because it’s happened to me before when I could not pay)Dr Carman said to me, “let’s just get you feeling better” and that all. So I wasn’t expecting what happened at all.
I was already doing the financial olympics in my head to try to figure out how I would pay for the work he was doing, (the car I’d driven to the appointment is worth less than two root canals)When all of a sudden Eileen walks in shows me my bill, im not the most spiritual of men but it was hard not to thank God for putting this man in my life. It took everything I had not to cry.I can’t explain his act of kindness at all. I’m a stranger, new to Carson from completely and totally different walks of life. It’s hard not to have your faith in humanity supercharged after an experience like this.

This is literally the best dental place in Carson City in my opinion. Everyone is so incredibly nice/sweet and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

I’ve always had a wonderful experience at Clear Creek Dental. Professional and friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone if you are looking for a new dentist.

Amazing front office staff! Very friendly and helpful. Dr. Carman is so great, especially with the kids and making it fun. Keeps you at ease during procedures. I went and then switched my whole family here!

The best dentist I've ever been to in my entire life! Can't say enough great things about Dr. Harrington. Saw him for the first time yesterday. He checked in with me about my comfort level the entire time. He described what he was doing. He was gentle. The numbing shot was entirely, and I do mean, entirely painless! I didn't feel like I was just another patient in a chair. I felt cared about in a way that I've never experienced in any other dental setting. This is a seasoned, genuinely caring professional who is above and beyond any dentist I've ever experienced. If there were more than 5 stars that could be given for a rating, he would so deserve them!
