Pearly Whites Family Dentistry

Before Pearly Whites, I was going to The Dental Spa, and seeing Dr. Hogan. That was always a pleasant experience, what with the hand wax, and warm neck wraps. The only thing I was never sure about was the quality of the work, which was something I got confirmed once I started going to Dr. Nguyen and her team after Dr. Hogan retired.

Unfortunately, a lot of work Dr. Hogan did had to be redone over the past few years. But the team at Pearly Whites has done a great job at getting it all replaced and feeling better than before. I've had the works: fillings, inlays, a crown, and wisdom teeth removal. All have gone very well and everyone is attentive to making me feel comfortable. I get anxious during dentist visits, so that's a big help. They also have a lot of up-to-date equipment, so no fears about visiting a place that's behind the times.

Pearly Whites kept the hand wax and neck wraps. So, if you pay them a visit, don't hesitate to take advantage of one (or both). Give them a visit if you are looking for a spot to go to take care of your dental needs.

This place was awesome! I felt so welcome and everyone was so friendly. I did not get the x-Ray technician’s name, but she spoke Spanish, and she made me feel as if I’ve known her my whole life! She was awesome. Dr. Nguyen was fantastic! She took the time to explain everything, and described her work in detail. I honestly felt really comfortable there. (: AND, the warm neck pillow they place around your neck! It makes your visit so much better. You’re not sitting alone in a cold room bc you have the warm pillow! Recommend this place!

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I’m going to them for a complicated process. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the dentist was honest and straight forward. Great office. Super hi-tech and innovative approach to dentistry. Sterile. I had a great experience and will be coming back regularly. One of the best!!

The staffs are amazing. From the front desk to the hygienist, to Dr. Nguyen, and to the girls who check you out.

Strike 1:
I am a new patient.
I arrived ten minutes prior to my scheduled appointment (bi-annual dental cleaning). All forms and insurance verifications were completed prior to my appointment. The office was fully staffed and only one patient was being seen in the back. Still, I was asked to wait 45 mins before getting called for my exam (dental cleaning). I should’ve left then, but I wanted my teeth cleaned.

Strike 2:
X-rays are a normal part of a cleaning process. The issue with this office is they purposely take unnecessary X rays to run up your insurance. For perspective purposes, I have perfect teeth, no dental issues ever, not even cavities, and I’ve had braces as a child. I was charged over $300 even with full coverage MetLife dental insurance because this “dentist” needed to be “thorough”.

Strike 3:

This dentist is highly unethical and incompetent, and that’s being polite. I’m 33 years old. She told me my canines are baby teeth, lol. I politely told her I have small canines but I assured her they are not baby teeth as I’m 33 years old…but she proceeded to argue with me. (Just for the sake of the review I went to Island Dental Center in Summerlin and they are great. They assured me that I don’t have baby teeth or any dental issues lol).

After waiting 45 mins, then finally being seen, the dentist tells me I need to have sealants on all of my teeth (again I’m here for a simple exam) priced at $1100 not covered by insurance, and my teeth are in horrible shape that I need a deep cleaning opposed to a regular cleaning to go beyond the gum. They also said they don’t have time to do it today so I will have to reschedule. What a waste of time. You make an appointment for a cleaning and they do everything but clean your teeth. How disrespectful and incompetent can a business be?!

Pearly whites isn’t worried about doing what’s best for patients the only concern is money. The dentist is highly unethical, greedy, and clinically incompetent. But hey if you enjoy your time and money being wasted, this is the dentist for you.

My experience was great. I am from out of town and called for help with a chipped tooth. When I called the receptionist was super nice and helpful. She made me feel good about coming to your office for help. When I got there the rest of the staff was also very nice and helpful. No one seemed to mind fitting us into the schedule. Dr Nguyen looked at the situation and offered a couple of solutions. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you for getting my back to being able to enjoy our vacation with a nice smile

Have been going to Pearly Whites since the practice was opened & have NEVER had anything but the absolute BEST of care!! Dr Nguyen is the best dentist EVER -- she can give a shot you won't even feel!! All of her recommendations for procedures are on point & always with the best possible results. The entire staff bends over backwards to make patients feel comfortable & pampered. Not only is everyone competent & well- trained, but so professional & SWEET!! Of course Donna is totally the best hygienist on the planet!!! Love you ALL!!

Recently, this dental office has been under new management( I have been s patient here for over 7 years) . It is difficult to make an appointment and front office is not organized at all. Time to find a new dentist.

I hate the dentist. This office is awesome! The staff and dentist are all nice, helpful and honest!!! My experiance here has made coming to the dentist so much easier. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Nguyen and staff are wonderful. I really feel like part of the family not just a patient. My teeth and gums are very sensitive but they never hurt me and always let me know what’s going to happen. Next visit I’m going to get an implant and two crowns and I know I’m in the best hands.
