Cypress Dental - Dr. Brian G. Chan

First visit! Wonderful experience. Beth at the front desk is fantastic! She has the BEST customer service skills. Very personable. She went above and beyond by letting us know about cancellations so we could get in for cleanings the very next day!! Dr Chan is so nice and knows his stuff. Not sure anyone can really enjoy going to the dentist, but Cypress Dental certainly makes it a positive experience.

Entire staff is FANTASTIC. Dr Chan is incredibly detailed and made some great suggestions for making me happier with my smile without breaking the bank. Emily is hands down the BEST hygienist I’ve ever worked with. First time I’ve left a cleaning without any pain, even though she kept me laughing the entire time. Really awesome group of folks working for Dr Chan and looking forward to future visits. Thanks team!

The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Dr. Chan is knowledgeable and efficient. My extraction was done from start to finish within 2 minutes. I was thoroughly impressed. I was referred to Dr. Chan, and I have passed the information to multiple future patients. By far the best dentist experience I've had as an adult.

I’ve always had a fear of dentists but ever since the first time I stepped foot into Cypress I’m slowly getting over that fear. Everyone is welcoming and I feel like all of my insecurities are being dealt with professionally. Some things had never been mentioned to me until I came here which makes me feel like I came to the perfect place instead of being brushed off. They’re Quick but gentle and I will continue going here forever!

Update: all of the above is still true! I’ve now been a patient for 7 years and am so happy to have Dr Chan and the Cypress team caring for my teeth. I’ve also converted my husband and two co-workers to Cypress. And they love it!
Recently my 18-month old daughter just had her second appointment there. It was a very positive experience. I feel they are getting her used to the dental experience and making her as comfortable as possible.
Truly - go see Dr. Chan! He’s awesome and doesn’t recommend unnecessary dental work.

I only just started going to Cypress Dental a few months ago. My experiences so far are great! Dr. Chan and his team are amazing at what they do. They’re kind, very professional, and wait time is very fast and sufficient. Dr. Chan’s work is top notch - fast, clean, precise, and no pain level. He’s definitely at the height of his skills. The dental hygienist are just as the same as Dr. Chan level. And last but certainly not least, all of his Dental Assistants and Front Staff are as professional and knowledgeable as they come. Wonderful office to go to! So glad I switched to Cypress!!!!

CHEAP INITIAL APPOINTMENT BUT PRICE GOUGES LOYAL PATIENTS. Dr. Chan's offers a great deal for new patients. My husband and I both signed on as we were new to the area and in need of a dentist. Over the years, prices have steadily increased and when I have had dental issues the wait for an appointment has been several weeks. Today I was there for a cleaning and was told that I needed a full x-ray panel or would be denied my cleaning. I balked because I had x-rays last year for my $5K dental implant but was told those "didn't count". Also today, Dr. Chan is running a new patient special with highly discounted x-rays. I asked if I could get a discount like the new patients on the x-rays for being a long-time patient. I was denied. So, I'm done. It is apparent to me that Dr. Chan's business model is to lure in new patients with a great deal and then gradually price gouge over time. He books his time up looking for new patients so much that his existing patients - paying an exorbitant fees - can't get in for weeks when they have the need. Maybe if he treated his existing customers better we'd stick around! I'm looking elsewhere. Goodbye Dr. Chan.

I am so happy I switched to Cypress. The whole team is very professional and kind, and I like how efficient they are (I have never waiting long in lobby or treatment chair). They explain what they are doing and why, and seem to genuinely care about you and your dental health. My last dentist had zero “bedside” manners and started pushing expensive treatments and devices (elec toothbrushes, night guards, crowns I didn’t need). Dr Chan is much nicer, more professional and conservative with his treatment recommendations. I am grateful to have a dental office I can trust and that takes good care of me!
