I had a 9 AM appointment, the moment I got there I was not greeted by the receptionist.I was given paperwork to fill out because it was my initial visit. When I brought the paperwork back to the receptionist she realized she did not give me all the paperwork I needed to fill out, and she got extremely frustrated and Made me feel as if I did something wrong. Then my name was called to go back and the assistant walked me into a room to do x-rays. No good morning no hi how are you, just put your head in here and move your feet up till they touch mine. then told me to go in that room without walking me to it. And as I sat there I could hear them talking about me as if I wasnβt to be trusted or I was there for other reasons than what I had told them. on the phone I was told by three customer service agents when I called because Iβve had a similar situation before when you call customer service and they give you incorrect information. so I made sure I went on to my company insurance website and made sure I went to one of the providers in the network and I asked the same questions to all three customer service agents, the removal of my braces would be covered by my insurance 80/20 and thatβs the primary reason why I went all the way out to South Meadows for this visit on my day off.I was told that was incorrect and it would cost $500 to have the braces removed even though I have a PDP dental plan. The orthodontist was cold, and unfriendly and did not make me feel welcomed.even after explaining the severity of the situation.There was nothing warm, or inviting about any aspect of the visit. It was all about money. Thereβs nothing gentle about gentle dental. Very disappointed.ππ»

I have so many terrible things to say about this place. Why I have been a loyal customer since I was in my teens is beyond me.
Iβve spent THOUSANDS of dollars here and have not been satisfied with anything they ever did. The three times that I had braces done by these people and my teeth are still not where they should be. Last time, I did Invisalign but I wish I would have went elsewhere. They just donβt know what theyβre doing ESPECIALLY when it comes to orthodontics. All of my treatments were extremely rushed and I never felt like they cared about my needs. Thank you gental dental for sanding gaps in between my teeth for $4K! You all should be ashamed of yourselves for providing services that you cannot perform.
Also, do not get fillings here because they will fall out within a short period of time.

On my last visit, they did a check-up and told me I had to schedule another appointment for a "deep cleaning," which I did. The "deep cleaning" was no different than all the other cleanings I've had it took about 15-20 minutes with the same tools as before. Before starting the "deep cleaning," they quoted a price and had me agree, which I did. While exiting the cleaning room, they asked me to settle the bill and tried to charge me more than what I was just quoted...........
After seven months, they called me today and said it was time to come in for another check-up and cleaning. I asked that it be done during the same visit, and they said it could not be, as my previous visit was not a complete check-up Hmmm..... So it sounds like my last visit(s) were incomplete, on top of trying to increase the charge for the "deep cleaning." I like the dentist he seems reasonable, but he needs to get a new teeth cleaning person and bill collector.

Extremely poorly run office. I made an appointment for my husband and I back in August for a Dr in our network. He was not available till January. When I went into my appointment today (4 months later), 30 minutes past the appointment time, I found out the Dr in network retired in October and a new Dr that is not in my network will be seeing me. I had zero contact from Gentle Dental informing me of this. When they called last week to verify the appointment and insurance, there was no mention of it either. When speaking to the front desk, both Tony and Stephanie were extremely rude. I asked why the retired doctor's patients weren't informed when he retired, Stephanie lectured me, "Every business operates differently and that's the reality of it." An apology would have sufficed.
After I left the office, Tony calls me to ask why my husband isn't there for his appointment. I told her again what just happened and she interrupted me with, "Yeah we just talked." And hung up on me without saying anything else.
Good thing I double checked before having them see me. If I didn't ask about the reason why my doctor changed, they would have charged me out of network fees. I did not appreciate being treated like somehow I was the one who did something wrong for their own lack of communication. Both Tony and Stephanie were very defensive and unapologetic. What a waste of time.

I broke a tooth that I had a root canal done on 10 years ago and never got the crown on... I am like most people and don't look forward to the Anesthetic, however, Dr. Lewis is FANTASTIC! I didn't even feel it! He was very informative and very efficient and did a wonderful job prepping my new crown. Teena, his assistant is also amazing! She made my temporary very well and did it quickly so that I could go into work right after. I love this office! Everyone is so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Regardless of who you have during your appointment, you won't be disappointed! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dental office to go to Gentle Dental on South Meadows Parkway!

GREATEST DENTIST AND STAFF EVER! I get very nervous going for dental work, but from the second I walked in, I had a friendly greeting from the front desk and then went to the back where Michael and the Doc were the best in making my situation more comfortable. The staff is beyond pleasant AND HONEST! I will be back and Iβll be bringing my husband and daughter there too from now on. THANK YOU!

Where do I begin? At 62 years old, I would have to say, I have never had a better experience at a dental office than I had at Gentle Dental South. Teena was incredible with her knowledge and experience making the required molds! Wow! Vanessa took the time to go through the financials and actually saved me 2K and Dr. Lewis was wonderful how he explained everything and actually took the time to listen to my needs and improved on them. Iβm so thankful for the staff and the individual quality of service I received. I will be changing my entire family to Gentle Dental South!!

This morning was the 2nd worst experience witnessed by me and my wife at Gentle Dental. Staff at this place is worst of all the times. Receptionist and Settlement lady have kept me waiting for 50 min without any updates. Staff only consider Gentle Dental working staff is busiest without thinking patient as well working and step out of the office for the treatment. If this location is out of staff, then reschedule appointment or as courtesy update reason for the delay. Wife's appointment complete 50 min and Staff was still making excuse.
This incident will be escalated to insurance and insurance will cut down the rating of this place. They do not respect Patientβs time. Arrange any other dental location, this was better for past 8-9 years, worst began last 2 yrs, especially short on staff and lack of management is witnessed at this place.

Went to get my second half of a deep cleaning and thank goodness for my hygienist, Sadi; she saw an infection underneath my crown where my dentist overlooked it on my recent X-rays. I ended getting a smell chip on the back side of my front left bicuspid, but Iβm sure my dentist will fix this without costing me anything since it happened from the cleaning. We are not perfect humans so Iβm not upset and why I still gave a great star rating.

I have been going to a gentle dental for about a year now and I have been in brace for 6 months and I have to say this is the best place to get braces! Best price for my budget, super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The assistant in the back are amazing and are very honest. The Receptionist who deals with insurance is very helpful and knows how to make one feel at ease when it comes to my quote for treatment. I have been to several places that make me feel like Iβm at car dealership and all they care about is money, NOT HERE! Overall from front to back the staff is amazing! The office is very clean. I would and still will refer my family and friends here!!!
