Looking for a new dentist now. First appointment went well, no complaints. Upon leaving, they said they were so busy I had to wait 8 months until my next appointment. Supposed to be 6 month. Thought that was weird but ok. Today, 2 months later, I get a call to reschedule my March appointment to June. Weird again. But I am concerned that this office is ok with me going almost 1 year in between appointments. I donβt feel comfortable with that. If they are so busy, they shouldnβt have accepted any new patients. I understand scheduling conflicts but not trying to at least get me something earlier is putting my health in jeopardy.

I was given a bill on my first visit for upcoming services. When I returned for these services they increased the bill by $125.00 saying "oh someone made a mistake". This is NOT acceptable. Unfortunately, the waiting area was filthy! The floor had all kinds of footprints on it, misc., trash items and extremely dusty. The ottomans were dirty, the floors were dirty and you could see 1/2" of dust on the trash can near the front door. I wanted to grab my swifter and clean this place. For all the sanitizing, etc., at a medical facility I was shocked by the waiting room. That being said, Dr. Choi is hands-down the best dentist I have ever been to. Absolutely the best for sure!! Hope they clean up before I go back again and hope their billing dept., hires some people that know what they are doing.

This is a late review. I visited the office of Dr. Lee couple years ago. This was my first and last visit. I came for the checkup and teeth cleaning. Dr. Lee checked my teeth. She insisted on doing the root canal on my tooth even though I insisted I don't want any. Anyway, that's not so much of an issue but adds to not so positive experience. The biggest problem was that the teeth cleaning part was done by the Dr. herself, not by the hygienist as is a common standard. The cleaning lasted max two minutes and she charged my insurance! I had to wait another six months to get the teeth cleaning done so my insurance covers it. I found another doctor who did a filling on a tooth she wanted to do a root canal. I don't find Dr. Lee trustworthy. This was my experience with the office.

Dr. Choi has been my dentist for five years now! He is so professional, calm and that helps me relax. He is a very caring person and always takes the time to explain every procedure. The staff is
professional and also friendly. I'll never see another dentist while I live in Reno!

We have been treated very kindly and respectfully by the staff in the office, and Dr. Choi is a pleasant gentleman, and a skilled, knowledgeable dentist. Dr. Choi replaced my crown a couple of months ago after it came off. The procedure went very well and I couldn't be happier. Today, we saw him again for my son's cleaning and exam. It's also a positive and comfortable experience. We are definitely returning to the office for the next visit.
BTW, The office is very clean. The waiting room is comfortable and the wait was not long. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Choi and his entire staff are rockstars! Iβve seen dentists on the East Coast, West Coast and while in the Marines, nobody compares to Dr. Choi and his staff. The dental hygienist, Laurie, who Iβve seen the past few times Iβve been in has been superb! I canβt say enough good things about both Dr. Choi and Laurie. Thank you, Healthy Smiles, my family appreciates you!

We have been going to Healthy Smiles for about 6 years and have always loved Healthy Smiles and especially Dr. Lee. Although their charges for dental always seemed on the high end, we were willing to pay because Dr. Lee has been so great. She's always been so nice and caring, especially with those family members that had trepidation about the Dentist. It has always been a great experience and we have referred so many to this office.
Lately it seems like a few things have changed. My husband and I were scheduled for our 6 month dental cleaning, we called early that morning because both of us had been really sick over the weekend with the stomach flu and was hoping that we could reschedule. The Office staff/Manager was not understanding at all and said that we needed to come to the appointment sick or not, regardless or there would be a $50 charge each. (most offices we have gone to have a cancellation policy, but when you are severely sick will waive the fees, especially for long time patients) We ended up going to the appointment to avoid the $100 fee and saw a hygienist we have never seen before, she was very rough and my husband and I had sore gums and sensitive teeth for a couple of weeks after. I thought it was possibly because we weren't feeling well, but as I waited in the waiting room for my husband to be finished, I heard another patient come out complaining as well.
I am saddened by this change at Healthy Smiles, we always loved going there. But unfortunately we will now be going to a new dental practice from now on.

Healthy Smiles is the most amazing dental practice in town. I am treated so well, cleanings are fast and thorough and you even get a paraffin hand wax dip, warm neck pillow and soothing eye mask. It's honestly like going to the spa. I love getting my teeth cleaned here. Dr. Choi is awesome and I genuinely love and respect him.

First office visit...
Upon entering, I was greeted with smiles and professionalism. After a brief 3-4 minute wait, Erika retrieved me to make my teeth sparkle! Erika and I exchanged terrific conversation, and it was the start of a great day! Thanks Erika.

Excellent. I was not ever left waiting. They have warm neck wraps, paraffin wax for your hands and an eye pillow. The office staff, hygenist and Doctor were all kind and personable. I went to another office a few months ago and was told I needed extensive work. ($900 worth). I was suspicious and my suspicions were confirmed today. This office is fair and affordable. I've been looking for a great dentist office since we moved here 3 years ago and we finally found our place! Thanks everyone!
