I don't usually give reviews, but I want to redirect anyone in the Reno area that may be looking at this dentist as an option. While the office staff and dental hygienists did a great job (I can't remember his name, but the male dental hygienist was spectacular!), the dentist is not to be trusted.
He claimed that I needed at least 8 cavity fillings, which I believed since I tend to get a lot of cavities between my tight teeth. I came in a few weeks later to get two molars filled and was very surprised that it only took about 30 minutes to complete. This is because the dentist did a terrible job. He literally fused my two teeth together and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get floss in between them. Every other time I got a filling at a dental office, my dentist took their time and made sure they could get floss between my teeth.
I recently visited another dentist and they took x-rays and determined that I in fact did not have a series of cavities to be filled, as Gerald Hansen stated. To be fair, they said that I have some decay breaking through, but definitely not bad enough to fill. They also stated that I had noticeably massive fillings on my molars, which are the teeth that Hansen filled. I am guessing that he made the fillings way more bigger than they needed to be.
I am disappointed in Gerald Hansen. I have been to a handful of dentist and my experience at his office has by far been my worst. I feel cheated and ripped off, and upset that the fillings in my teeth are so massive.

Frank, the hygenist is the BEST! The staff is kind, helpful and great. Dr Hansen is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is kind, caring and gentle and is an exceptional dentist.
