Dr. Harbpinder is my family dentist for 3 years or probably even more. Needless to say, because I'm still coming to her I'm 100% confident that she is competent and I can trust her advice. To add to that, I strongly believe that she is sincerely interested in my wellbeing and I'm very much appreciate it. The staff is nice and great as well. The bottom line is that every and each of my experiences are great with her and her office. And I would recommend to come here to anyone.

We have followed Sue M. throughout the years and different practices. She is simply the best! I am pleased with the new setting and care we have been given at Smiles by the Sea. Technology is first class!

I've been going to Sue to have my teeth cleaned for the past 18 years. She is amazing!!! I'm a very anxious person; especially in the dentist chair, hahaha.... Sue has a natural way of making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She is extremely knowledgable, experienced and I absolutely give her my highest recommendation! I will continue going to Sue for as long as I possibly can!

When Sue moved over to work with Dr Shevchenko, I came along. I first met Dr. Shevchenko about 8 months ago. For a long time, I had needed work on my two front teeth (they needed crowned as they were cut in half years ago when I was a kid). We decided that it was definitely time as there was a bit of decay in one of them that had developed between cleaning visits. Dr. Shevchenko did an AMAZING job with them! It was done in two sessions; the first was the prep work and the second was putting in the two permanent crowns. I am super pleased with them! Dr. Shevchenko's assistant Ashely is also excellent and very highly skilled!!! They are a great team and together made the entire process much easier. Smiles by the Sea Dentistry is excellent! I travel 40 minutes from Southern Maine to go there.

When I moved to the area 10 years ago, I was hesitant to leave my childhood dentist and continued to spend years driving an hour north to the dental practice I grew up with and trusted. After my husband tried a different practice in this area and received a poorly done amalgam filling with no other option offered to him, I was even more apprehensive about switching practices.

When he found Smiles by the Sea, I was impressed with the quality of work done on his teeth after needing quite a bit of work done. I was finally ready to give up my commute to the dentist knowing this practice was using the state of the art technology I had come to depend on at my old practice, but was still a little sad to leave the dental practice I had come to trust over the years and feel like a part of their family.

When joining the practice at Smiles by the Sea, any apprehension I felt was put at ease after my initial meeting with Dr. Shevchenko. Your first appointment with Dr. Shevchenko is a chance to get to know each other outside of the dental chair, during which it will become clear that Dr. Shevchenko truly cares about her patients as people! Not only Dr. Shevchenko, but the entire staff I have worked with (shout out to Sue, my hygienist!!) have all been kind, caring, professional, and highly skilled. These attributes, combined with access to the modern healthcare provided at the practice and a trust in Dr. Shevchenko and her team that they will choose the least invasive procedure necessary for my oral healthcare, make Smiles by the Sea a five-star practice! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great practice. They did very thorough exam and work. Something should always be done and that few of my previous dentists never did. So glad I found them.

I've been one of the patients of this office since 2010. Dr. Peter Thomas and now Dr. Harbpinder Shevchenko and the team have been providing me with quality dental services for both my teeth and gums. And Teri Holland, you are awesome! Thank you for cleaning my teeth and taking your time explaining to me the proper ways to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Sue is a wonderful dental hygienist, whose manner, professionalism and knowledge make the experience of visiting the dentist way easier and more relaxing than visiting a dentist should be. When our previous dentist retired, we followed Sue to our new dentist - Smiles by the Sea. We could not be happier. Obviously, we still have Sue as our dental hygienist, but Dr Shevchencko and her team are wonderful. The office carries all of the latest and UpToDate equipment and the staff explain everything prior to any procedures. You know you are in very good hands and we would recommend Smiles by the Sea Family Dentistry - and Dr Shevchenko to everyone.

I am also another loyal patient of my hygienist Sue that followed her from a previous practice to Smiles By the Sea. I have been a patient of Smiles for over a year now and thanks to Dr. Shevchenko, Ashley and Sue I no longer dread going to the dentist.
