A great experience with Dr. Courey and crew. Called with a complicated issue that my usual dentist couldn't handle. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated with professionalism, kindness and even good humor! Dr. Courey clearly knows his stuff and took his time to learn about my issue and work through a solution. All around a good experience - I'll definitely be back.

Wonderful! I took my daughter here for her TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction). From the minute we walked in, the front desk woman, Chrissy was so welcoming - already putting my daughter at ease. While we were filling out the paperwork, Chrissy provided us with water and offered snacks! She was quite entertaining and very social. A great personality for the front desk! Then Shannon assisted us and she was as equally pleasant as Chrissy. Dr. Diaz's consultation lasted for over 40 minutes. He was so thorough as he explained the difference between TMJ and TMD. He took time to answer all of our questions and my daughter is actually returning there to have the proper mouth guard made. He also took the time to explains some exercises and stretches that can help relieve some of the tension that she experiences. Overall, I would give this practice an A++ and I highly recommend them to anyone!

Dr James Courey is quite possibly one of the GREATEST dentist I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. I went to him after I lost faith and trust in my previous dentist. Knowing the situation and acknowledging my obvious apprehension he put every worry and question in my mind at ease. His demeanor is relaxed and caring while his knowledge base is amazing. You can tell he really loves what he does. His staff are some of the kindest people I had ever met and were extremely accommodating with my insane work schedule. Dr Courey not only saved my smile, but restored my faith in dentists and people alike. I know I was not always the easiest patient due to past experiences, but he handled my fears and my overzealous mannerisms with amazing confidence assuring me I would not be disappointed. I MOST CERTAINLY WAS NOT. I cannot stop smiling and have NEVER been happier. I highly recommend him and his staff. THANK YOU DR. COUREY FOR GIVING ME MY SMILE BACK!!!!

I became a patient of Dr. Courey of Specialized Dentistry of NJ after having done exhaustive research due to the failure of an implant and crown that was done by another dentist. After careful research I selected Dr.Courey especially for his favorable reviews and outstanding career as a prosthodontist.
He made me feel comfortable after a detailed explanation of the work he would need to perform. I am very pleased with his work and I see why he has been voted on of NJ top dentists/prosthodontists.
I would also like to acknowledge the friendly and professional service from Michelle and Dawn at the front desk; along with Arianna, an excellent dental hygienist and the rest of the team.

My situation was dire, and I was abused as a child by my first dentist. Growing up I had to (out of absolute necessity) to visit other dentists and I felt berated and looked upon in disgust by other dentists and staff throughout my 20s and 30s.

Fast forward to age of 41, and my bottom bridge fell off and was held in place by gravity. I couldn’t talk, eat, nor enter any public space without wearing a mask.

I entered the office and I was welcomed without judgment and dignity. They assured me that this is the last stop for patients with dental problems like mine. And proceeded to make me feel confident.

I had to visit my in laws for the first time ever in Across the country and my lower bridge fell out 3 weeks prior and was held in only by gravity. If i said the wrong vowel, ate food, went to sleep my 5 tooth bridge would fall out.

Dr. Diaz, Shannon, and Chrissy made me feel like Royalty. There would be little distinction between my treatment and the President of the united states. They fixed my problem within two weeks and more importantly feel confident with a perfect smile. I cannot thank them enough and receive my highest praise. New comers please feel at ease coming here. They treat people how they expect to be treated which is rare now-a-days.

Absolutely the best!! If I could give them 100 stars I would !! A friend of mine recommended Specialized Dentistry to me after I was told I needed dental implants. I had broken posts on my 2 upper teeth, tmj and misaligned bite. I felt like a mess. I literally walked around with 2 loose front teeth for close to a year. I had nightmares of my teeth falling out and was just devastated. Right from the beginning Dawn was so kind and helped set up a consultation for me. Dr. Courey spent over an hour with me reviewing my situation. He is knowledgeable, patient and thorough. He really took the time to explain my treatment plan to me. After he fixed my post and crowns I started my Invisalign treatment. Dr Diaz is a perfectionist and has made the process so easy. He also does Botox! I look refreshed, natural and definitely not over done! Recently I had a cleaning with Arianna and she was great as well. So gentle and friendly. I’m hoping after all I won’t end up needed implants but if I do I’m in good hands !! I honestly don’t know where I’d be without them. I am forever grateful to the doctors and the entire staff.

This is an exceptional dentistry. Outstanding staff and remarkable dentists who are compassionate, empathetic and sincere in every regard. It is clear that every patient is treated as very special. They are all truly experts at what they do. I cannot possibly more highly recommend Doctor James Corey and entire his team. This is TOP NOTCH individual care.

The absolute best doctor's office experience I have ever had. The receptionist was so nice on the phone making an appointment, and that carried right over to the office. When I arrived, she got up from the reception desk and came around to greet me and take my coat. I was offered coffee/water, sat in a private room to fill out paperwork which was reviewed with me one on one. They were really interested in who I am and what is important to me. The doctor was excellent, so kind and thorough, explaining everything to me and showing me what he was talking about. Never once did I feel rushed or that my time was being shared with another patient. I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dental experience!

This office is absolutely wonderful! Extremely professional from the minute you walk in and speak to the front desk, all the way through to the assistants and of course the doctor. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I received the best care with Dr Courey and his staff. They are truly there to help the patients and make dentistry a pleasant experience. I was extremely pleased with Dr Courey and his staff during my recent visit. The office is very nice and I was very impressed with the modern equipment used. I went to get fitted for night guards as I am a night teeth grinder and I now am very happy with the night guard. I also got my teeth whitened and they look great. I am a fan of Dr Courey!! I highly recommend him.
