I used to be terrified of the dentist (even as an adult). I still get anxiety about visits because of bad past experiences. BUT I started going to Essenmacher about 9 years ago and in all that time I have never once had a bad experience. They are so kind and gentle and work so hard to make sure you are calm and comfortable. I am immeasurably grateful for them and how well they’ve treated me. They’ve fixed up cavities that got botched by other offices, redid my crown that never sat right in my mouth so that it actually fits. If you’re looking for a dental office that won’t leave you in tears, this is the one.

Staff is very friendly and helpful and very professional. Dentists are great. I have been coming here for a long time and will continue to do so. A lot of my family also comes here. And in their new digs the dental chairs can massage and heat. And there is a tv to watch while reclined!

Wow! That's how I'd sum up my experience in 1 word. The other word that comes to mind most is family. That's because I really feel like a part of the family here. Everyone here is so wonderful and caring and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Essenmacher and the entire staff. My teeth were not straight and I had multiple chips and had been self conscious about my smile for so long. They always make me feel comfortable and the quality of work was outstanding! I'll preface this by saying that I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. But the great team at Essenmacher Family Dental really makes it so much better going to get cleanings and work done. I have a bad gag reflex, but the dental hygienist who always works with me, Alyssa, is so wonderful and patient with me. She helps me work through it and because of her, I always have a great experience. Dr Essenmacher is very good and has a great group working there, from the front desk on. Definitely will be my dentist as long as I live in New Mexico!
