Sundance Dental & Orthodontics

I always look forward to every dental appointment I have with Sundance. I like hw they are very accommodating to their patients. I like my dental hygienist too. She's too skilled that I cannot feel any sensitivity while she cleans my teeth.

Dr. Oz and his team are amazing! They’re all so happy, they really know how to reduce stress. Juan and Dr. Oz really do their best to make you feel comfortable and at ease. They are always so friendly and calm! Great customer service, the front team are also really sweet! This is the only dental office where you will leave laughing 😆

Had a tooth extracted without dental insurance and paid out of pocket. The office staff were very welcoming and helpful. Most importantly, the operation went great!!! Had a little miscommunication with the billing, but the office manager Elyse made sure to set things right. 👍🏾

They really care here at this Sundance Dental. I came in regarding and emergency referral from another dentist. I called Sundance for a second opinion and they were able to get me in that afternoon. They helped me with my anxiety, applied for the Care Credit card and helped find the best treatment plan that would fit my needs and my budget. I would definitely recommend Sundance Dental to anyone who may have had bad experiences in the past.

My family and I have been going to Sundance Dental Regulary years and never had a problem,
My husband had a bad toothache over the weekend so I called them this morning to make him and appointment, the lady on the phone was Very Hateful and Rude and wouldn't make him an appointment until Mid October.
So my family will be moving on to a new dentist. Sundance has apparently gotten to big for their britches.
By the way this was at the Bloomfield, Nm location.

I was very fearful to have my work done due to severe nature of having the remainder of my teeth pulled. Dr Tornow was awesome, he explained everything up front and I don't even remember any of it. The healing process was painless and the best decision I have ever made for my health. Jenner(his asst) is the bomb too. Without hesitation the best dental experience I've ever had.

Sundance Dental office exceeded my expectations in friendliness, competency and speed. I appreciated the care and consideration I received there. I requested an appointment about a week earlier and was given some quick options so my wait time was minimal. Also my financial arrangement was handled for me so that worry was taken care of. Great people and great service.!!

Today my girls received their first treatment and we were completely satisfied! I would highly recommend this place to everyone! Super friendly staff, very welcoming and helpful, they answered all my questions and concerns, i love how they care about their patients and their needs! Dr. Oz and the team did an amazing job!! I am very pleased with Sundance dental services. My four year old son hated the dentist and it was impossible to sit him still. Sundance staff was patient and kind with him and he now loves the dentist. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I would not recommend getting any cosmetic procedures or a root canal from Dr. Withem as he has caused unnecessary pain to myself - and my partner.

I received crowns from Dr. Withem this past fall – while waiting for my permanent crowns, they placed temporary crowns in – It was a Friday nearing 5pm – a couple of my temporary crowns had come off – knowing that it was a labor day weekend – I wanted to get it fixed before the long weekend. I quickly placed a call to Sundance to see if they can get me in for an emergency visit. I spoke to the office manager Selen - whom stated that she would call me back – and she noted that Dr. Withem was on call this weekend.

I never received a call back from her or the doctor. Every day, I called the number they had given me on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I left a voice message every day with no returned calls – I called Tuesday at 8am – and they could not get me in until a few days later. A week had gone by and I was able to get in. This was extremely disappointing as I suffered through the weekend and the week.

They should not have an on-call doctor who does not return calls – and they should not call it an “emergency visit” if they cannot get you in as soon as possible. Yes, I was able to get a temporary glue from Wal-greens – this did not hold the crown in place – and it was pointless to add glue as it does not stick.

As a result, my crowns cause me pain when I drink hot or cold beverages – Dr. Withem referred me to San Juan Endodontics to fix his mistake.

Moreover, my partner had a root canal done by Dr. Withem - he drilled a hole in what he thought was the canal – and it turns out it was not the correct canal. Due to his error – It became infected and caused excruciating pain. A referral was made to San Juan Endodontics to fix his mistake.

We were informed that Sundance does not have the proper equipment to perform proper root canals.

Due to Dr. Withem’s error’s – we had to pay additional cost to see a dental specialist. Keep in mind that seeing a dental specialist is expensive.

Due to our trauma – we will not have Dr. Withem perform any major dental work. They are only good for basic dental work.

This is my experience – and I am only sharing – do with this information what you will.
