I don’t know if “soft teeth” are a real thing, or if someone just told me that once because they felt bad that I felt bad for always (ALWAYS) having cavities. It’s no wonder that a constant-cavity-having-gal like myself has never been particularly fond of visits to ye olde tooth doctor. About 6 months ago my boyfriend convinced me to try his dentist because, as he proudly put it, “They are THE best”. So I went in begrudgingly, as it so often seems that my jumping from dentist to dentist is some strange contest to see how many trained professionals I can get to tell me “You’ve got a lot of fillings” (It’s a terrible contest, and no one else is playing.) I agreed to go, and thus begun the BEST experience of my dental history.

Let me tell you how it starts: You go in and are greeted by THE NICEST receptionist you ever did meet. Suzie will tell you that George will see you in just a moment. You may or may not even get the chance to sit down in the very comfortable, Wi-Fi provisioned and magazine stocked waiting room before being called back to see George. I’m aware that I’ve said the name “George” twice now, as if you know who he is or what he does. Let me fill you in (*high five for the dentist pun*). George is the most incredibly gentle, patient, and thorough hygienist that will ever work on your pearly whites. I promise you this. Take it from someone who has been poked and prodded countless times from behind countless protective glasses, in countless reclining chairs. George is the best. And nicest. And most talented hygienist you will ever encounter. He’ll get you all set up and send in a Dr. Ellis, Dr. Thompson, or Dr. Straley.

D’you know when you’re at a restaurant with family and your dad has told the waiter it’s your birthday because he just loves embarrassing you, and you know you’re going to put up with the embarrassment of the singing and the clapping because you’re assured, from years of this, that what follows is a free dessert? (*She doesn’t know why she gets cavities, you chuckle*) You have no clue if it’s going to be a lava-chocolate-brownie cake, or some red-velvet cheesecake, or maybe a decadent apple pie topped by a classic vanilla ice cream, but it doesn’t matter. It’s going to be awesome no matter what. Not knowing which of the three dentists is going to walk into the room is kind of like that. Kind of. Okay, pretty much just the bit about them all being really sweet and a welcomed surprise. (That analogy was a reach, I know, but I work with what I have). What I’m trying to say is that you’re in good hands. Really good, really caring, really well-trained and dedicated hands. Such is the talent at Hillrise Dental under the attentive supervision of Dr. Ellis, Dr. Thompson, and Dr. Straley that this year I’ve convinced another four family members and friends to make Hillrise Dental their choice in quality dentistry. It’s a movement, people, join in.

And so it is with such ebullience that I fully recommend you and your family and your friends and your friend’s families and their friends, and so on and so forth, to become part of the Hillrise Dental family.

This is hands down the best dentist office in town! The entire staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The office is always clean, efficient, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
