Two times in my life a healthcare professional has made a significant observation that proved fundamental to my wellbeing. The first was a physician's assistant noticing a lump on my neck that turned out to be non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The second was when Milagro Dental hygenist Quiauna Lucero suggested last year that my ground-down teeth were symptomatic of sleep apnea. She proved to be right, with my body oxygen levels dropping below safe levels when I sleep. I am now on the way to fixing the problem, and wish to thank her for making the connection, as well as working through the COVID-19 pandemic at great personal risk to herself.

Best dental office I’ve been to. Everyone is so nice and they do their jobs well. I know I need to floss more, but they don’t make you feel terrible about not doing so. I always leave with a strong resolution to try to do better (I promise I’m going to try and floss every day!).

This office used to be very calm and friendly. This time it seemed uptight and I felt very rushed. My first visit in two years due to Covid and only after I drove all the way from Los Alamos did they inform me that there was no doctor in the office that day to examine my teeth. I won’t be going back.
