Fair price very thorough. Went into a lot of detail to help me understand better what needed to be done. Never felt rushed or hurried. Like that they take photos so you can visual see what needs to be done Thank you

I have been to High Country Dentistry several times. The staff there is great and works really good with people. I (as most people) work and have to visit the dentist/doctor, etc. during my lunch break. The first visit I expected to take longer as it was an initial visit. The second visit, he was able to fix one of my teeth that I have had some issues with, it took about 2 1/2 hours for this one tooth as he ran into issues, but it is fixed. I then come back to have a cap placed on the tooth, this visit, I waited about 40 minutes to go back, the assistant worked on the cap for a while, couldn't get it to fit. The dentist did finally come and place the cap which he had to alter it to get it to fit. The assistant then finally got the cap placed. I went way over my lunch time which I expected maybe 10 or 20 minutes but not an hour over. I then schedule a cleaning as they suggested for my next appointment. In my line of work, I will schedule something but things come up and sometimes at the last moment and well, that is just a fact of life. I called the morning of my cleaning to reschedule as it was for later that afternoon. I was told that I would have to cancel this appointment, call when I know when I could make it (who knows, it is according to what happens that day) and pay a $50 non-refundable fee to hold the appointment. I know that they make appointments and need patients to be there to get their money, but they should understand that people have other responsibilities as well and when something happens that is not by choice, then it is out of the clients control and they should not be punished for it. I have never understood how it is okay that I have to wait and loose time due to their being behind or not on schedule and I can't do anything about it, I didn't make a scene, I didn't even complain about it because I understand how things can get out of whack; however, if I mess up the office schedule by having to reschedule, it is a huge deal and I get "punished" for it? My time is just as vital as theirs and the fact is for both the client and the office, things happen, you can't do anything about it! It is really sad because I really like the dentist and his assistant, they are wonderful people and take care of their clients. Good place to go if you never have an interference with your schedules!!!

I had an interesting experience with Dr. Barkley's office. I visited about a year and a half ago and was told I was in urgent need of 4 cavity fillings. I was quoted nearly $1000 for the work. To begin with I was a bit skeptical, because as of 23 years of age, I never had one cavity. In the moment, I was worried, but I quickly made an appointment back home with my childhood dentist who gave me a clean report not 2 weeks after my visit with Dr. Barkley. I am posting this now because I just visited my current dentist today and received yet another clean report. I'm sure Dr. Barkley is a great doctor and had his reasons for wanting to fill my teeth. But after a second and now third opinion, I want new customers of High Country Dentistry to be wary of what you might be getting into.

High Country Dentist is great, really nice people, do great work and are flexible with scheduling. Also very helpful when it comes to insurance plans, what’s covered and what’s not. Recommend them highly.

I have never been to a more thorough dentist! Not only did my teeth feel extremely clean, they took the time to explain what they were doing at each step and also how to properly take care of your teeth and why you should do it in that way. I am very pleased with this dentist.

Being at dentist isn't my favorite place to be, but is was long overdue. Seems like a good dentist office (only been twice) I do like everything being explained to me. Nice and friendly staff which is always a plus in any medical field. Will recomend to others.

Everyone was so patient and friendly. After a bad experience with my last dentist I was so scared to come in but they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Really appreciated that all the advice I was given was the most cost-effective way to improve my smile too. Thanks again!

I had my first visit here and was very impressed with the care. It was a very thorough exam and cleaning by the hygienist and then Dr. Crank came in and explained the follow up care that he felt was needed.

Love David Crank, and high country dentistry...best dentist and staff anywhere, highly recommend. I would never go to anybody else!
