Our family went here for dental work, requested a procedure, and it was communicated to us that it would go through our insurance company. Once the work was completed, they told us that the insurance company did not cover the procedure, then threatened us with collections, etc. This is unacceptable as they should have gotten an authorization and reference number from the insurance company prior to performing the treatment. No due diligence on the part of this practice at all, and we will no longer hold this place credible or go there.

If I could give him a negative starI would. To start I have a cap on my front left took in the center from a roller blading accident when I was a kid. This cap had only chipped once before and it was from an ice skating accident when I was a preteen. Went and saw Dr. Yoon for the first time in 2016 (October if I am remembering correctly) and he said that it was time for me to get a new cap. I agreed because it had been years. He replaces the cap and it looks fine. Come to be months later I am eating a slice of pizza and my cap comes off. This perplexed me because I had never had it happen before. Call Dr. Yoon and they have me come in the next day. While I am sitting there in the chair Dr. Yoon himself implies that the doctor that had done the work on me did a bad job. Then I remind him that it was him months ago and he is shocked. He then looked it up on his computer to see if I was telling them truth and then brushed the subject off. He goes on with fixing my tooth and then is done - gives me the mirror and the cap he put on isn’t as long as my natural tooth and mirrors it. I point this out and he says “oh I can’t see that from this angle”. He then instead of adding onto the cap to make it even files down my natural tooth. (I am attaching pictures of all of this). He did not charge me for this work but messed up my natural tooth more. Well here we are in May of 2018 and my cap just came off again while I am eating broccoli and cheese. focused more on money than quality care,does not stand behind his work.very disappointed.with Asheville having many quality dental professionals,I would highly recommend avoiding this clinic.
