David M Glasscock DDS- Charlotte Dentist

Just wanted to stop by and express my feelings toward this practice and its staff.... I am very happy that I switched my dentist and joined here. Dr. Glasscock and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They are all very kind and caring. They work around my work schedule and follow up after procedures to check on my well being.
I am very satisfied with Dr. Glasscock and his wonderful staff. Another important note, I have never been more confident of my smile until Dr. Glasscock worked on my teeth. They look fabulous ... Thank you all for all that you do :-)

I am NOT an easy dental patient, and by the time I finally came to Dr. Glasscock, I was a nervous wreck and not feeling at all confident about the future of my smile. I had been "dismissed" by my previous (and relatively young and inexperienced) dentist, and I felt just awful.
Fortunately, I found Dr. G. by contacting a specialist (endodontist) that I had been to ten years ago and asking him who HIS dentist was! Today, I have a plan in place, I am going to get my smile back (while maintaining a healthy mouth all along, of course), and I feel like I already got my mojo back.
You know you're in good hands when the staff and the dentist coordinate seamlessly (I have a horror story about a dental practice I went to
25 years ago where the staff were virtually at war with each other). Julie cracks me up with her New England accent, and she is totally a good sport when I (with my own conspicuous non-native accent) tease her about it. Lauren is very good at explaining the financials, especially considering how so many dental insurance plans today are covering less while costing you more. The hygienists are thorough and careful: I have a lot of sensitivity and flinch easily, which they deal with gracefully and non-judgmentally. Last time, I was almost dozing off during my cleaning, that's how careful they are (and how much I've come to trust them).
Charlotte is a big town and has plenty of dentists, but given my unique situation and for my peace of mind, I am sticking with Dr. Glasscock!

Our family has been going to Dr Glasscock for many years, approx 20 (?) years, for all our dental health needs. Throughout the years, we have found Dr Glasscock's office is always professional, helpful and more than willing to assist the patient in any way possible. ! We would recommend Dr Glasscock and his staff to anyone that needs dental help !

A good relationship with your dentist is very personal and important. Good preventative dental care is paramount to overall health maintenance and monitoring.

Dr. Glasscock and his amazing staff have exceeded my expectations in all areas.

About 10 years ago I was relocated and forced to leave my dentist of 20+ years. I have lived in several locations and, saw some fine professionals....never seeming to find the right "fit"... something was missing.

Upon moving to Charlotte, I established myself with a dentist near my office; my family began to see Dr. Glasscock. They kept encouraging me to try Dr. Glasscock. My dentist sold his practice and I was faced with the decision- stay with that practice or try Dr. Glasscock.

By my second visit I felt I at "home". Dr. Glasscock and his staff were so attentive ....the relationship I had searched for, in a dental practice, had been found at last!

This is not the typical "medical and insurance mill" we encounter these days. Dr. Glasscock and his wonderful staff respect each person as a human being, with their well being and health as first priority. This practice is not about numbers or the money; its about taking care of patients.

I can recommend Dr. Glasscock and his wonderful staff to others......it is a recommendation that I can make with confidence!

First off, I am an aspiring dentist and had an amazing opportunity to be able to shadow Dr. Glasscock for an entire summer. During my time there, I always saw Dr. G excited for dentistry and helping out his patients. He does a really good job of remembering all his regular patients and is always making sure he makes them feel right at home. Second, his staff at the office are also so friendly and always make sure you are treated with the best care. Lisa and Julie are always having a great time in the office. I will continue to go to Dr. Glasscock as long as I am in Charlotte. Very grateful for their services. And if you ever want something to talk to Dr. Glasscock about, just talk golf.

David M Glasscock and his staff are great people and deliver great service. They treat you like a friend they care about. I used to go there and then moved away for a while. I ended up moving back and straight away resumed with David M Glasscock because I knew I could expect a great experience.

I can genuinely say that Dr. Glasscock is the very best dentist I've ever been to, and I've been around for a pretty good while. I had an appointment one day to get my teeth cleaned, and decided to pursue getting rid of some broken teeth. Dr. Glasscock spent a good deal of time with me, explaining the work I needed done, a schedule to get it done, and answered all the questions I had for him. He is a very patient man, and took all the time in the world with me.....no rushing in and out at all. His entire staff made me feel at ease and comfortable while I was there. They are all very friendly but professional at the same time. You will feel right at home there, but also confident that you're getting the best dental care possible. The work Dr. Glasscock and his staff did for me is now complete. Believe it or not, I'm going to miss going to his office!!! (Except for those 6 month checkups and cleanings). I'm very pleased with my results, and wish I had done it years ago. If you want a dentist that will take exceptional care of you, Dr. Glasscocks office is the place to go. I can't imagine anyone not being pleased with the treatment they receive, and after all the broken teeth I had removed, crowns installed, etc., I have had no pain to speak of. Which, I must say, is a definite plus! Bottom line is this: If you're looking for a dentist you can trust and a dental staff that is exceptional, call Dr. Glasscock for an appointment. I think you'll be glad you did.

This was my 2nd visit to Dr. Glasscock for a procedure and he did an awesome job of keeping me informed of what was going on. He made sure that I was comfortable during the procedure and his assistant is awesome as well. She is very informative. I was referred to Dr. Glasscock and I would refer any of my friends or family.

I hesitate to say the worst experience I've had a dentist, but pretty close. First, they misled me to think my insurance would cover my cleaning. I got a bill for 106 in excess of what my insurance paid (for a cleaning!). So they grossly overcharge. Second, the hygienist massacred my mouth while taking 18 (yes) 18 x-rays of my mouth. They DO NOT HAVE the machine that takes them all at once. I complained half way through the x-rays but she continued to butcher my mouth with the films (I was bleeding). Then I finally get a cleaning (I'm there for 2 hours). When the dentist visits, I have 1 complaint. The crown on my implant is loose. The dentist points to 1 of the 18 x-rays and tells me "see here on the x-ray, it's not loose". Just so you know, I walked out of the dentist and pulled the crown right off my tooth. He never even felt it. I disputed my bill and it was summarily sent to collections. I have written a letter to Delta Dental in hopes that they will drop this dentist for misleading clients and very poor service. Please don't make the mistake that I made. Go somewhere else. Oh yeah, it really doesn't matter, but the toothbrush and floss that gave me must have come from the dollar tree.. it was off brand and awful.. you'd think I could get a name brand for a $250 cleaning.. AWFUL

From the first time my husband and I saw Dr.Glasscock we felt like family. I had not seen a dentist in several years and I was very nervous. The staff put me at ease immediately. They are very efficient and professional. We feel very comfortable recommending Dr.Glasscock and his staff to anyone, including Angie's list. We drive from Salisbury because they're worth it!
