I started taking my son here a little over 3 years ago when we moved to Hendersonville and they were one of the only places that accept Medicaid/NC Health Choice. They were great until the pandemic. Now they will not schedule you an appointment more than 30 days out and you have to physically go up there to make an appointment because they NEVER answer the phone or call you back. My son had sealant put on his teeth and he still got a cavity on an adult tooth and now, not even a year after the filling was put in, he has a cavity around the filling. We went for a check-up and the dentist that looked at his teeth didn't speak English and had to have the assistant translate. Nothing was told to us about how his teeth were developing, only that he had two cavities. I don't believe the dentists are the best, and the receptionist are rude most of the time. Had to wait over 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time to even go back. They need to do better.

I do understand that we are still in a pandemic and business may be short staffed and/or swamped. However, I called almost 2 months ago maybe 3 to get an appointment for my mother who I am now a caregiver for. It took up until about 3 weeks ago to get a return call for an appointment after leaving several messages.
So now we are in office and they only thing they said they need was for her previous dentist to fax over her recent xrays. My Mother completes the authorization form and we wait. After a week I thought the previous dentist werent cooperating and hadnt sent the requested xrays. So I called them and they stated they never received the request.
So now it has been almost 3 weeks and again I am unable to get a hold of Stokes Dental. I have called every few days and left messages with no return call. My Mother only has 4 teeth left in her mouth and has been waiting almost 4 months to be seen to have dental service for 4 extractions only.
I find this disconcerting even if the office is swamped or short staffed. To at least return the calls to state they are busy would be more appreciated than having my Mother be in pain with no one to take of it. My Mother's teeth have already been infected and she was put on antibiotics.
I am just trying get her some medical relief.

I went to Stokes Dental Center. The hygienist was awesome. She tried her best to make me feel more at ease and less anxious about my extraction. I had Dr. Sharma as my dentist. He was polite, tried to joke around, and the procedure was very quick. I appreciate their help tremendously.

This was the best experience at any dental clinic. I saw Dr. Ladd for an extraction and he and the tech made me feel very comfortable and such a smooth process. He was very professional caring, and Thorough. Highly recommended.

This is a free service through Medicare. But I just called for a return Appointment on a defective crown and the call back is 10 days!! The Appointment date may be 3 months . They need to be hiring or firing one.

I've never been to Stokes Dental until this visit, 8/15. I have a sheer horror of going to the dentist but this was one to the "have to" situations. What I hoped would be a simple extraction wound up being a surgical procedure. I had the great pleasure of seeing Dr. Ladd, who could sense my anxiety and kept me at ease. Great staff!, and I would recommend Stokes Dental to anyone. I'll be back.

We have been calling for monthhhsss!! Nobody answers or bothers to schedule appointments when answered. Front desk keeps turning away people and itβs at the point where nobody can go anywhere else because they wonβt except new patients. And even when I have went there it was not great. Pulled a tooth with a infection still there, got sick because of it!!

I was amazed by the dedication the entire staff showed to their patients. I'm particularly grateful to Sarah and Dr Platt for taking the time to explain the process of my care moving forward. Patients' care is obviously at the forefront for these terrific caregivers. Thank you, Robert Ledbetter

I went there for bad tooth pain upper right teeth. They did not even look for anything on my top teeth. He pulled the bottom right wisdom tooth which was not bothering me nor was there anything wrong with it. Went to another dentist and it was the upper right wisdom tooth which I informed him of this. Now I have had pain where he pulled the bottom wisdom tooth which the dentist after him said it should have never been pulled to begin with
