I just moved to NC and had my first experience with Dr. Gillespie and his staff. Mary was extremely gentle and efficient as my new hygienist. Stephanie was also thorough at performing my x-rays and taking my dental history on my first visit. Dr. Gillespie was very warm and welcoming and performed a through exam. I am excited that I found a great Dentist and highly recommend the office

My recent visit for Dental care with Doctor Gillespie was as expected. It is very obvious that he has assembled a very professional group in all departments. Need dental care? Highly recommend. Great group of folks. Very friendly and proficient. Makes a fellow feel a little special.

Dr. Gillespie and his team go above and beyond to ensure their patients are taken care of. I recently had an issue arise during my appointment and they were more than accommodating. They were kind enough to stay later to fix a filling that fell out during my cleaning appointment that same day.

I highly recommend this practice.

Never have I been a big fan of the dentist office. That is until now. The experience I have had with Dr. Gillespie and his staff has been nothing short of excellent. I've never been around such great people dedicated to what they do and who have gone out of their way to make me feel so comfortable and to help me. The quality of work is tops. Just a great place and can see why they are the best in Haywood County. I would consider them the best I have ever experienced. Great job!

As a person who has dreaded going to the dentist their whole life, I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant dentist visit I've ever experienced. From the beginning with scheduling my visit, to being greeted by Wendy as soon as I walked in the door, to my *nearly* painless cleaning (can't ask for more than that! haha) and great conversation with Robin, to my new patient exam with Kelli, and to finally to meeting Dr. Gillespie - I was more than satisfied with my visit from start to finish. What a happy and welcoming office and group of employees. Moving to a new state is hard with trying to find new doctors, dentists, etc., but I'm happy I nailed it on the first try. This will 100% be my regular dentist office in Waynesville :)

Today I went in for my 6 month cleaning. I've been going to this office for years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Beautiful, modern office, friendly staff that greets me by name when I walk in and a dentist who is charming and very down to earth yet very professional. A few visits prior to this one I had to have a tooth pulled and was very nervous but Dr. Gillespie was so kind and very, very gentle! He and his staff were very patient and comforting. They were everything you could possibly want from a great dental office. They have taken such great care of me for years and I could go on and on about them. Best dentist and dental office in Haywood county!

About six months ago, my regular (former) dentist wanted to extract 3 teeth...."they couldn't be saved"....having already 2 extracted previously, i thought i would seek a second opinion.....i have kept all three teeth!!!...Dr. Gillespie saved two and the third was fine.....we then decided on a partial for fill in where the other 2 were extracted. I received the partial today..perfect fit......Dr. Gillespie has been very kind, helpful, and answered every question and concern along the way. The staff makes you feel like family!! My teeth and my smile are now in great shape! It's a bit of a drive to Waynesville for me, but well worth the trip...even my wife (very picky retired Dental Assistant) now sees Dr. Gillespie and staff. I highly recommend Dr. Gillespie for high quality, compassionate dental service.

Let's face it, going to the dentist can make some of us a little nervous and anxious. No need to worry about that when Dr. Gillespie and his staff makes you feel so at ease and comfortable. I am new to town and needed a dentist after breaking a molar on a popcorn kernel. Everyone in the office was extremely nice and professional. I was in and out with my new crown in one visit of a couple hours. I am extremely happy with my crown and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend DDS Gillespie to anyone. He will be my families new dentist.
