Hylan Dental Care - Cleveland

Everyone is amazing here. The staff is incredible. They cater to nerves, and they’ve been a part of my life for the past 8 years or so. There’s one down the street from us but I always come here because I’m comfortable. They take great care of my husband and I couldn’t imagine going elsewhere!

I have nothing but good to say about this place. First off the office is so clean and updated. Very high end! The staff were all so pleasant and professional! It’s an understatement to say that they all genuinely care about their patients!
I found Hylan Dental after I had a bad experience with another dentist office that left me with a bad infection that could have cost me my life. As soon as I walked in they immediately took care of me. After they saw me, took X-rays and discussed treatment options, Susan Hylan personally pulled me in to her office to chat with her. She saw the condition I was in, my face swollen twice its size. She wanted to know exactly what happened. In the end she prescribed me better antibiotics than the emergency room had given me, and scheduled me an appointment for that week to allow the infection to clear some. In other words had I not walked in to this office, I would not be here writing this. Thank you guys so much!

I have had a great experience here! I hadn’t had a cleaning for a couple of years and had visited another dental place in Cleveland that quoted a very high price of all the work that would need to be done. I came to Hylan for another quote for a second opinion since I didn’t have dental insurance and found that they were a lot more transparent and accommodating with providing the services they felt I actually needed. Since then, I have noticed a large improvement in my oral health. In the past, cleaning appointments would take a long time due to the poor state my teeth and gums. Now the appointments are so much faster, which goes to show how much my oral health has improved in just the last 2 years I have been with Hylan! Highly recommend!

First class customer service and the dentist was not only competent and knowledgeable she also had a great personality. Sue Hylan made an exception to get me in right away because I was having some discomfort and you can always tell how great a company is by how the employees act and from the receptionist to the owner they all love their job and it shows through the care I received. Trust me , even if this office is a long drive , gas up the car and take the ride. Happy Holidays !!

I have received over 17 years of great service. From my girls up front to all those friendly faces in the back. My dental family is friendly, caring, personal, and do a great job fixing my teeth. They explain things well and make you feel comfortable. They also have care to help you get payments broken down. I highly recommend this very well taken care of dental office and friendly staff. My favorite part is the staff has been the same all these years. This helps you grow really good friendships and feel comfortable when you are a frequent flyer like me!

For 13 years I have been coming to Hylan DentalCenter,. I come in, often a bit frightened. They always know what I need and take charge of the situation. The dentist, technicians, office staff and all who work here are professional and kind. They always manage to do such a great job, and deliver the best results, no matter what the circumstances. I really want to say thank you to the kind and generous Hylan dental staff at 117th. The entire staff made my daughter who has special needs and myself feel at complete ease. My daughter and I both suffer from extreme anxiety and we both were not only comfortable but we’re smiling! Thank you from the bottom of my heat for taking excellent care of us!!!!!!!

I love Hylan Dental care these guys really do take good care of you. I've been coming here for years they go above and beyond to help you and to make sure you are satisfied. If you're looking for a new dentist look no further they also have other locations as well.

Scheduled for a cleaning at 8 am. I get there at 8 and wait 20 minutes for someone to unlock the door. Then they tell me they don’t even open until 8:30 on Tuesdays, but their website says 8 am and the confirmation text I received said “8 am”. Hardly any staff was even present until 9. The receptionist was yelling that they need to start calling people because they don’t know where their assistants are. Incredibly unprofessional for a dentist’s office and this made me feel so uncomfortable, especially as a new patient.

My dental hygienist was great. She did a good job cleaning my teeth and was very pleasant, but did not floss them. The doctor was also pleasant, but spent very little time with me and merely glanced at my teeth.

Unfortunately, I would suggest finding a new dental office. This one is unprofessional, unorganized, and does not even know where their staff is.

I can’t thank Dr. E enough for his patients with me. I had a very bad experience as a child with a dentist when I lived in North Carolina that has left me petrified of dentist. I had a broken molar for the past 7 months and since it wasn’t causing me pain I wanted to simply leave it go but my dentist Dr. Waters convinced me that it will become even more brittle in time and cause bigger problems. I came into the office planning to be put under so I wouldn’t run from fear and Dr. E convinced me it would take him 15 minutes and I wouldn’t feel any pain. Normally this is when my panic attacks kick in and I begin to sweat head to toe. With the understanding and promise there would be no pain and he would take no more than 15 minutes I agreed to tough it out. The staff was incredibly kind and understanding with my fears and for the first time ever I by passed my panic attacks and was finished with in 15 minutes. Anyone looking for an oral surgeon I would recommend Dr.E. Thank you to him and his staff for all their kindness and understanding.
