Nice people but should not have to go through one hour of poking and prodding before a cleaning is even discussed or started. Just can’t spend hours on a cleaning and so much pre-jabbing to fill out files for their computer. Exhausting and painful.

The one star rating is due to the lack of communication that occurred for and during my appointment. This was my first time back to the office since Dr.Fulton had retired and it was my first cleaning in about 4 years due to job/insurance changes as well as pregnancy. When I made my appointment, I knew I would have to bring my 22 month old, but was told that would not be a problem because there is a play area (yes, there is a nice play area in the waiting room). My appointment started on time with xrays. The X-ray process was very uncomfortable and consisted of more than just posterior oral cavity x-rays of molars with multiple times of biting down on a very uncomfortable digital x-ray device. This whole process was exacerbated by not being able to have my son in the room while being x-rayed which in turn caused the process to take longer due to having him in and out of the room. I then had digital photographs taken of every tooth, then a gum examination. There was no problem solving or options given to skip any steps to help move the appointment along. After all of this, I was then told I would need to make a new appointment for the cleaning because we were treating this appointment as a new patient/diagnostic exam. At no time was I informed of this when I scheduled the appointment or when the appointment started. I would have declined the X-rays and the video of my teeth. When I requested for the cleaning to be done, I was told there was not enough time and that I would need to come back for a 45 minute appointment. The dentist, Dr.Luna completed her exam and based off of the questions she asked, I am not confident she took time to review my information. Supposedly a cavity was found, but there was no discussion about size, severity, etc. I was then left in the room so my treatment plan could be discussed with the front desk and was told that maybe the cleaning and cavity could be taken care of with one appointment. Due to the lack of communication a sense that appointments will be drug out with multiple visits for simple things like cleanings and fillings I have decided to choose a different dentist to review the appointment and to have the cavity filled (if needed) and a cleaning completed (the whole reason I scheduled the appointment in the first place). If this is typical practice for a patient who has not had a cleaning for a length of time, then it should be made clear at the time the appointment is made as to if the appointment will only consist of diagnostic procedures with or without the cleaning. My time is also valuable and I also live about 35 minutes away. Multiple trips are an inconvenience. Update to this review: It took two phone calls to finally have dental records faxed to new dentist 90 minutes before appointment. When record paperwork was initially completed, I was told it would take a few days. I then followed up a week later and the records were not sent. I was told they would be sent immediately. I followed up again two business days later and the records were still not sent.

I do not like going to the dentist but everyone I have encountered at this office is so nice and friendly. I have had x-rays, a cleaning, and the Zoom whitening done. They did a fantastic job on everything. I highly recommend going to this office. Very clean and nice!

My dentist and her assistant were very good and a true professional. Dr. Luna was very good as usual, and kind. I would definitely recommend this dental group.
