I had a pretty terrible experience here. The nurse was VERY kind and attentive but the dentist who saw me was incredibly insensitive and had a bad bed side manner. He came in, didn't introduce himself, immediately started pulling and poking my mouth roughly (after telling him it was very painful) and when I asked what it looked like and plan of action I was told, "Well it has to come out doesn't it..I've seen worse." Needless to say I left in tears. Will not be returning.

Terrible experience the staff is okay but the Dentist (Dr. Black) was absolutely the rudest person I have ever meet. First of all he asked a lot of personal questions that had nothing to do with the procedure. Came in for an extraction doctor brought tears to my eyes trying to numb it. Afterwards he said that the pain was caused by the tooth and that there was no infection so antibiotics are pain medication needed.. Unfortunately this was not the case and I woke up with my face swelling and in worse pain than before I had the tooth removed. Had to pay another dentist to examine me to subscribe antibiotics and medication. Tried to contact the office about this but was blown off as if I was just a drug addict seeking drugs. Take it from me if you don't have insurance sure they are one of the cheapest for a extraction but not by much. Spend the extra 30-40 dollars to go to a real dentist the first time. I know I wish I had.

5 years ago i had some of my teeth pulled here that were broken, they were great, friendly and understanding.

Went back friday, a week ago to get wisdom teeth pulled out at the oral clinic on the 2nd floor, room 230. Lets say, this time around, everyone just seemed to be rude and were in an extreme rush, infact i dont even know any of their names that seen me.

Prior to being sedated, they didnt really tell me much about what they were going to do. After i woke up, i was told nothing, just put into a wheel chair and pushed to my car, they didnt tell my wife anything either. Went back the same day due to extreme amounts of bleeding. The clot had came out, they said it had started to reform on its own and the bleeding stopped, And sent me home.

No pain for the rest of the day. None the next day, until a big blob of squishy greyish black with blood all over it came out. Called the emergency number. Guy was very helpful, and told me to come in monday. I was in extreme amounts of pain when i woke up, my jaw was double in size and swollen. Pain meds were hardly working. Went monday and all they can tell me was that it was normal and i was healing as expected and to just take my pain meds and some ibpruphen.

Week goes by, the pain is still there. I have to take two hydrocodones and 800mgs of ibpruphen every five and a half hours just to make the swelling go down and make the pain barable. I go back, once again people are rude, i heard one of the docters making Fun of a patient in a winey voice, mimicing what a patient said. The docter that seen me was in a rush. He looked at one of the holes in my mouth and kinda looked at another.

TURNS OUT I HAD A DRY SOCKET.

Im kinda pissed off, cause, i came in for the exact same pain and swelling a week ago yet "everything was healing as expected, just keep taking your pain meds"

They put some stuff in my mouth that smelled, tasted and looked like chewing tobacco. Half the pain went away. Thanks for that. Bout a week late though.

He asked me if the pain was in the top socket as well, i told him that it just hurts my entire head. So he did not put the stuff in any other socket, but i thought "your the docter... you looked at them.. shouldnt you have known if it was causing it as well?"

I feel like some of the pain could of been prevented early on. Thankfully it doesnt cost $. To get checked up on. Which is a plus. And the surgery itself literaly was 60-40% cheaper than what other dentist charge. So that is good.

I most likely will come back for dental work. But the DRs could be a bit more inclined to actaully help patients and to get rid of pain rather than getting them out the door asap.

This place was a waste of 3 hours every month and a waste of money missed from not being at work and money for whatever they were doing every month. There was a misunderstanding with my student (who was awesome) about a filling that was done by another student on me which I was told by my student would be free...it was not and when I was done I went to to schedule my appointment with my student and the rude hag gave me an amount due for the filling. I told her I was told it was free and she started to get rude with me and I got rude back. Wasn't a problem that I had to pay for it, I know misunderstandings happen but do not be rude to me when it was someone in your colleges mistake. I told my student about it and he apologized for telling me wrong information and for the rude hag. I called and paid it a couple of weeks later then...i get a letter that I was dropped from the freaking program! Waste all the way around, nothing I needed done was done and now I'm dealing with the same tooth, now giving me pain. I could've taken my money to a dentist that could've taken care of this before it became painful. Wouldn't deal with them ever again.

I will most definitely recommend O.U Dental College, the Staff was top notch and very friendly and Professional, they got me in on time and the Doctor that did my 2 extractions was very Professional, and the nurse who sits at the sign in counter, is also the one to put my I.V in, That girl is fantastic. I myself will be going back and I highly recommend the O.U Dental College, Oral Surgery Dept. Tony Williamson.

Sorry that other people may have had a bad experience with OU College Of Dentistry but the student and his assistant did an excellent job removing my wisdom tooth. They were polite and they did their job well.

The stuff is absolutely incompetent, been waiting for my wife for 2 hours altra and need to wait other 2.
She paid in advance.
They had her come back.
I think those people don’t have any knowledge about costumer service and working class.
Time is money for some people.
I tried to don’t be rude but the situation is getting unacceptable.
If you plan to come here you better take a full day off work and don’t plan any activities the same day.
Stuff is unprepared and don’t have any idea of business planning and timing.

I was referred to this office from the orthodontics college. Dr. Trimble. I arrived before 1:00 pm and the doctor just came into the office. We have waited over 1 and a half hours for a consult. I asked for a manager and within 5 minutes the doctor walked in. He didn't go over any of my son's records. He asked the same questions his nurse assistant asked.im not impressed.

Great students here at this program unfortunately the staff has no faith in them to be able to experience hands on complex work that they will be facing in there young profession lives ahead. I was seen by the program and was verbally approved and received a quote for services after i payed for service's the day of my appointment. by the University oklahoma dental college an was told i would be called in to began treatment. A month goes by and i received a letter that i was not approved due to my case being to complex. I say if your gonna make these kids pay all this tuition do the right thing an let them rise and fall" on there own accord but isn't that what your there for is to teach one?? Oh! And it's NUNLEY not NENLY.

Yeah so.. we've been working on a root canal for like 2 years now.. got the filling... its already starting to chip out... I couldn't do an appointment in December because my car wouldn't even move didn't have a ride. They said oh in January we'll call you to schedule you cuz the rest of December is booked.... well here it is the begining of march.. still no call. And my tooth is starting to hurt again cuz the filling is starting to chip off... I need a freakin crown.. and somehow they still haven't called to make an appointment so... forget this place yeah its cheap without insurance but... seriously... waste your money somewhere else not here...
