Dr. Matt Flakenstein took absolutely wonderful care of me on multiple visits, and I do not have any reservations about returning to Dr. Falkenstein for further care. You are making the right choice for your teeth by going to him for your dental care. He is a very quick and gentle dentist with an immense amount of time in dentistry under his belt. 10/10 would reccomend!

I have been fortunate, over many decades, to receive quality routine dental care from reputable doctors in excellent communities. That said, in 2004, a dentist in Seattle performed a root canal on a molar that should have been treated by an endodontist. Six years later, after an endodontist tried to save the tooth by performing an apicoectomy , I ended up in an oral surgeon’s chair, having the tooth removed and a bone graft to prepare the gum for an implant. This process was completed by Dr. Cauble in 2011, which provided an exceptional finish to the treatment with a crown that looks and feels completely natural and has performed beautifully for 7 years.
In 2012, while hiking at Shevlin Park, a dog ran into me, hitting me in the mouth. A couple of years later, during a routine exam, Dr. Matt Falkenstein suggested that I see an endodontist, as the root of my front tooth began to fail from the trauma of that incident. That recommendation proved to be a critical diagnostic, clarifying the damage and required treatment for the front tooth, and revealing an undiagnosed condition, known as root resorption, on a second tooth.
This experience was a true initiation into the subtleties of dentistry. Unlike my naïve acceptance of what the Seattle dentist recommended and performed unsuccessfully, Dr. Matt extended himself as a compassionate companion to a process that involved a team of players. His exceptional communication skills, his capacity to empathize and be forthcoming with concerns that could impact my life and well-being, his knowledge of procedures, technologies and additional qualified doctors who assisted and would meet my needs successfully in the process, and the exceptional depth of a professional who embodies a genuine passion for excellence and helping others!
Dr. Matt insisted that the cosmetic finish to my front tooth was as natural as possible. His attention to the form, color, detail of the crown and fit of the gum was no less than the way an artist stands before a canvas with a desire for perfection.
Since 2011, I have experienced outstanding care from both Dr. Matt and Dr. Cauble. Their staff is attentive and thoughtful! And the special care given to the esthetic and landscape of their office welcomes you, while providing a sense of beauty and physical well-being.
