Old Mount Pleasant Dentistry is the best. I was in need of an emergency evaluation and they got me in right away and with the right direction helped me get to where I needed to go to take care of my tooth. They followed up with me and saw me the next week when I needed to come in quickly for a fix up. The staff is so pleasant and comfortable to be around!! Can’t recommend this place enough!

The nicest most kind dentist I've ever talked to! He came on the phone during my appointment sign up call to ask about the kind of pain I was in. The women answering the phone was also incredibly nice! So refreshing to have someone sound like they want to help! I have yet to go for my appointment but they have already gone above and beyond! I have never had a more pleasant experience at the dentist's office. Dr. Melchers truly cares about his patients and makes sure all procedures are done with as little discomfort as possible. He is also incredibly focused on each person, individually, and never makes me feel like he's rushing me out just to get to the next patient.

Let's just say it ... my teeth are a hot mess. Missing 8 top teeth, and what's left are riddled with decay. That's what lots of medications, dry mouth and bruxism can do. DESTROY your teeth.
I didn't know what to expect with laser fillings. But let me tell you ... from someone who has MASSIVE anxiety fear of the dentist chair ... this was nothing short of an amazing experience! No pain, no shots!

Dr. Melcher is WONDERFUL! I was on vacation when my tooth started to hurt me, I was stressed to try and find a dentist in an area where I am not from. I asked around, and someone referred me to him. I walked in right when they opened and the whole staff was so welcoming and so sweet. They assured me they could help me out! It was quick and painless. I wish I lived here so he could be my dentist! Love, love, love Dr. Melcher! I have NEVER sat in his waiting room as he is always prepared and ready for his next client. He and his staff are so so kind. Dr. Melcher does not want anyone to experience any pain. It might be his motto. He is so kind! He is thorough and EXTREMELY competent. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He is amazing!!!
