Their billing practices aren’t at all up front. It isn’t until AFTER they complete the dental work that they tell you your insurance isn’t in their network and didn’t cover a large amount of the already completed procedures. The doctor didn’t provide me with options, or pros/cons of the work they chose to do. It felt like he only wanted to tell me what he wanted to do and dismissed any other ideas or concerns I’d had. He was also dismissive of the complications I had after my dental work was done. They should really give ballpark estimates as to cost BEFORE the work is done, because I ended up in their office in tears when they gave me the total that I was completely unprepared for. I’m not saying he’s a bad dentist- I’m just saying there are better ones that take the time to explain things, list your options and work with you on your treatment plan and the cost.

Anderson Dental clinic has been our family's dentist ever since we moved to Rapid City in 1998. Dr. Kurt and Dr. Karl are the most knowledgeable and helpful dentists I've ever met! They take the time to get to know you and develop a personal relationship with their patients. Would recommend to anyone new in the Rapid City area!
